Nervous Venus manga page
Nervous Venus is one of the strong pilars of the Amie, it started since the first number (February'97) and still goes on. Is a story about romance and drama. It has very funny moments, but very dramatic ones too. All starts with Haru, a cute genki girl with short hair who is in love with her best friend Aki, but the day before he was planning in confesing his love for Haru he gets killed in a car accident with other 4 guys, though his body was never found. It's a very hard shock for Haru, but then, the first day of course she meets this cool guy at the right and things start to tremble a little ^_-
Chie Waseda's art is sharp edged and pretty attractive, and the same goes for her stories and characters. She's specialized in short stories and has various tankoubuns published with them, her last compiled volume is "Summer Blue". (I will write more about her and her otehr manga when the volumes arrive to me ^^ )
I'm sorry for the poor collection of scans, but right now I don't have access to my Amie collection, not until October, so I will be upgrading this page from then on... ^^;
