Ako goes to second grade in high-school. She used to hung up with some "modern" girls in her class, but after meeting one of her sensei, Katayose-senpai, things changed for her. She actually found something where to concentrate her energy: the male basketball club of the school.
After changing her ways (more like her hair) she was admited as the second manager of the team. She, of course, wanted to enter it because Katayose-sensei is the trainer, and their relationship starts to get better and better... She really likes Katayose-sensei very much.

Ako-chan has a little brother (not that little, just one year younger ^^; ), Katsumi Doumoto.

Ako is a little naive about things and seems to be quite lost at times, but she is quite brave and is ready to fight (literally! ^^ ) in behalf of her friends! ^^
(Personally, I prefered her with her old hairstyle, though ^^;;)

Katayose-sensei is a young teacher in Ako's school. He is also the trainer and responsable of the male basketball club. He first met Ako in the halls of the school as he confiscated her PHS, but later they seem to run into each other quite often... (especially since Ako joined the team... >:)

Katayose, however, does hide some secrets behind his matter-of-fact face.

Taiji-kun is one year younger than Ako. He is in the male basketball club along with Ako's young brother, Natsumi. Since he's also Natsumi's best friend, he has known Ako for a long time and admires and likes her for quite some time now. He has a really sweet attitude and face however...

Taiji has another face. When his second personality takes over, he turns into a quite cool and hard young man. This usually is triggered because of Ako being in danger or being hurt by somebody. He is famous for going around punching Katayose-sensei every certain ammount of time (^^;;; ). (but believe me, Katayose does deserve it...).

In my veeery humble opinion I think Taiji is really cool and Ako is blind as a rock for not choosing him and staying always so crushed over Katayose. ^^ (but as always, things never seem to go as I want them to! *sigh* ;_; )
