Here, with time, there will be synopsis/summaries of the chapters of Seiten Taisei. They take time, so be patient! ^^ (And remember to buy these tankobon if you like the summaries, it's the best way of thanking the authors and the synopsis are nothing compared to the real thing! ^^ )

Chapter 1 (second half)

Seiten Taisei: Part 01. First Half [version 1.1] [Thanks to Fuu for her help in this synopsis] If you asked me if everyday was really fun I really wouldn't know, but for now I'm a high school girl and it's basic knowledge that I dress up and stuff. I'm in 11th grade so college entrance and stuff is something for a little later. Today is another day school was so so. It just kinda ends, and on the way back, with friends, I visit the 109* and I have to look at clothes and stuff, like, you know? [* shopping mall-esque building in Shibuya] A female student walks down the hall with a thoughtful look in her eyes. Somebody calls her behind her but she doesn't notice it and keeps on walking. YOU! The brown-headed girl! (This time she does notice ;) A tall young man with glasses starts asking her things about the school rules and stuff. At first the girl has absolutely no idea what on Earth he's babbling about and then she realizes that he has her school ID card! (She must have let it fall and that's why he was actually calling for her...) Not only that, but when she is trying to retrieve it, she gets a call on her (quite) noisy PHS--something the guy, a teacher, doesn't like at all, so... He confiscates the PHS to the girl's horror. Behind her, two young male students are laughing themselves silly at her. But she gets one of them (her brother) to shut up when she threatens him to tell their mom about some H pictures he got in the internet... (^^;;; ) Doumoto Ako, the girl, is not happy about what just happened. She's going to get in problems with their mom and, on top of that, who was that young teacher anyway? She hadn't noticed him before. "Him?" her brother replies. "He's Katayose-kun. He is supposed to be in charge of us, or something. He came this year from a school in Yokohama." Ako can't believe her luck, "In charge of youu?? Help me then!" (^^; ) His brother won't, the guy was a pain in the backside for the whole evening. However, the other young student does tell Ako that he will get the PHS for her. Ako turns all into smiles and bright stars, what a nice guy Taiji-kun is instead of the horrible brother she has! (^^;;; ) Taiji-kun, in turn, is blushing and sweating at the same time... [if only she would be like this with you all the time, ne, Taiji-kun? ^^ ] That matter settled, Ako leaves. Later on, as she and her friends roam around some part of Tokyo, Ako has to make excuses for some of her friend's ideas as she doesn't have all that much money. Before her friends leave to party, Ako wants to give them her phone number but... she then remembers that the unfriendly teacher got her PHS! (^^; ) She tells the other girls, who take pity on her and even offer to lend her one-- "Wait a moment, you girls." A group of older women and men are looking at them with irritated expressions on their faces. "What are you doing around here so late? What is your high school?" The women start to mug them trying to make them say their school name, then one of them actually recognizes their uniforms and turns to another man, "Aren't these kids from your school, sensei?" Ako and her friends aren't too happy with these news, "A teacher from my school?!" The man grabs Ako's arm but the other two girls loose no time in running away from them! The women try to run after them while telling the man to take care of the one they already have. (^^; ) Poor Ako looks at her "friends" with a worried expression on her face. "Girls, how evil! Leaving me behind!" "Hey, stop squirming and stay quiet," says the man. Ako has no other option than to obey him. She blushes in shame, that was definitely not a nice day for her... "Those guys friends of you... what are their grades and names?" But Ako is not going to say and looks to a side with a determined look. He just smiles and laughs softly and says that he will let the matter pass. Ako turns around and looks at him for the first time... it's a really good looking young man! Ako is really speechless. The guy starts to ramble and ramble about what a nice thing to do, wearing the school's uniform and all, while Ako is still digesting the fact that he is one of her school's teachers. He asks her what grade she is in and wonders that she is probably not in first grade so she must be in second... At Ako's total and really clueless face he adds a bit about having her PHS and... Ako finally makes the connection. Ako is in shock! So this is the same guy as the one with such an evil mood that got her PHS earlier! But he's so nice now... She asks where are his glasses and he says he's using contacts now. He also tells her not to go around that part anymore and leaves... Ako watches him walk away still very surprised. One of her "friends" returns to her and tries to apologize (and who's going to believe her? -_-; ) but Ako is still in her own world... Time... stopped.... Ako arrives home and totally ignores her mom to run up to her room still with a "ooh" expression on her face (^^;; ). As she walks by her brother's room, both Katsumi (her brother) and Taiji welcome her (one less polite than the other ;). Taiji also tells her that he's sorry but couldn't get back her PHS as Katayose-kun wasn't there after the club activities... Ako just says (still zoomed out), "I know... met him..." which leaves Taiji wondering what is it with her. As Ako closes the door of her room (with her inside), she remembers Katayose smiling... Katayose-sensei... Soon afterwards she is storming into her brother's lair shouting for him. But when the moment comes to really talk she blushes and starts sweating... "Ka... ka... ka...." Taiji looks at her while Katsumi asks with a how-weird-can-my-sis-get-to-be look in his eyes, "Mosquito?" ["ka" alone means "mosquito," even though Ako is obviously trying to say something else] "Katayose-sensei... u... usually is in the gym... when there are... club activities?" Next day, a shy-looking Ako is looking into the gym from its door as the basketball club practices. She is very impressed when Katayose makes a shot, so much she starts to melt... (^o^) One of the team guys notices her and tells Katayose. He turns to her back in his cool mode and asks if she wants to talk with him or something. Ako nods, blushing furiously, "Y... Yes... I... I... yesterday... thank you very... much for... looking after... me..." She wants to kick herself for her sudden clumsiness... "Yesterday?" She stumbles her reply, reminding him about last evening, Shibuya, the group of matrons... And now that they are on it... her PHS? "Oh, that..." He replies that he forgot the incident and the girl already. Ako is shocked by this. A blonde girl calls for Katayose and starts talking with him. Ako recognizes her from her own class and then sees Katayose smile warmly to her and call her "Miss Manager..." The blonde girl notices her and asks her if she wants something from them. Katayose asks if she's a friend, but she replies that not, they are just in the same class. In that moment the younger basketball club members go in, including Taiji and Katsumi while Katayose tries to leave. "Wait a moment, please, sensei." Asks Ako with a worried expression. "I want to become a manager of the basketball club!" Taiji looks at her in surprise while Katsumi's face is priceless (^^; ). Nishina (the actual manager) wonders about it as Ako is already in second grade but Ako replies that it doesn't matter, she likes basketball very much! Nishina wants to send her to the female basketball club but Ako insists. They are both cut by Katayose, who says it's ok... but not with those looks and ways of her. Ako is devastated at this and thinks it over and over until she arrives at a decision. After asking her mom for money and passing through a hair salon, she tries to achieve her new goal in life. The next morning she presents the form to become a member of a club, she now has short, black, non-dyed normal hair!
