Chapter 6
Youko swallows Ranze-pan and Rara runs home to tell the incident to the family. Morli, Sheera and Rara come up with a plan to help Ranze-pan, involving Youko and... er... a toilet (^^;;; ) After they leave, poor Rinze wonders if his sister will be all right, and to his surprise, Aron appears in the room! Back in the school, Youko is having some problems digesting Ranze-pan, so her father hands her some beer (^^;; ). Unfortunately, the cold beer makes Ranze-pan sneeze, and as she does so, she wishes very hard she won't turn big! (Otherwise... poor Youko!) To her surprise, Ranze turns into her normal self, but in a diminute size! She realizes she is wearing another of Aron's present: The (make) Little Machine Ring. Outside, Ranze's family has spotted Youko, and all three of them (Morli included), dressed as school girls, corner Youko in the toilet. Youko ends up using the toilet itself and the poor family is left behind thinking Ranze has been flushed down! (In fact, she is still inside Youko's stomach...) Ranze suddenly awakes in the infirmary in her street clothes and decides it's time to return home. She finds Shun on her way out, and he ends up inviting her for food because they are both really hungry from all the activity that day! Ranze is very happy, and asks him to wait a moment, then hides behind a corner. She pulls out the Magic Mirror, and an exact copy of herself pops out of it! Ranze I asks Ranze II to go home instead of her so she can go out with Shun, and she agrees. Ranze I thinks it's a really convenient mirror... As Ranze I and Shun go on with their "date," she keeps on making copies of herself and sends them on errands she forgot about and finally makes a whole lot of bunch of Ranzes when Youko's dad appears to harrass Shun. One of the Ranze copies is a really dangerous, cool Ranze, who kicks Youko's father's bodyguard's butt, and makes them leave in terror. All the other Ranze think she is really cool... (^^; ) Back to Ranze I, she and Shun are now in a cafeteria eating something. Ranze I almost has a slip of the tongue when they talk about his mother (supposedly she hasn't met her yet, even though she has seen them in her various "Shun appartment adventures"), but aside from that, everything progresses smoothly... Ranze I starts to have fantasies about Shun telling her he likes her when somebody calls her attention. The whole bunch of Ranzes are back! And they want some Shun quality time as well!! The Ranzes start to take their turn in sitting with Shun, each Ranze has a different personality than the previous one, and they all want more food to eat! Poor Shun is attacked with direct questioning about his love, weird romantic looks, tears, fears for his lost money in all that food... until he finally gives up and tells the current Ranze that he is leaving. A poor policeman finds all the Ranzes crying for the loss of Shun... On his way home, Shun finds Youko and yells at her when she tries to talk to him (it's the Ranze syndrome...). Inside Youko's stomach, a very drunk Ranze keeps on hitting the walls and singing, until Youko faints from the shock of hearing Ranze's voice coming out of her mid-section. Ranze uses the opportunity and manages to get out of her, via her mouth. Morli, Sheera and Rara arrive home, crying for the loss of their dear Ranze... just to find Ranze talking with Rinze and Aron! Ranze's parents cry from happiness, but before Sheera can spank Ranze (for going to the Makai), Rinze stops her and tells her that's not the real Ranze! At the same time, the policeman delivers the rest of the Ranzes... Aron understands what happened, and tells Ranze's parents he can fix the copy problem. Morli wonders who the heck he is, but Aron just makes a spell that makes all the copies disappear... but there is no Ranze left! They were all copies. Morli and Sheera are back to their desperate mood as they realized that the Ranze Youko ate was then the real one! But Rinze says he can hear Ranze's voice, and finally manages to find little-Ranze on the floor. After she is back into her normal size, she explains that she created a copy the first time she used the Magic Mirror back in school, and told her to go home instead of her. Aron then explains about the pendant Ring he gave her and how it turned her into a diminute size. Aron excuses himself for creating so many problems when giving Ranze the Forbidden Book, and Morli gets really angry at him. Ranze stops him, telling him Aron is her friend from the Makai, and suddenly Rara and Sheera recognize the seal Aron carries on his chest... it's the Royal Family Seal! The three of them fall to the floor in a vow as Ranze exclaims in disbelief and surprise that Aron is a prince. Aron gives Ranze's parents a letter from his father, and they send the kids away to read it. The letter tells Rinze's parents that there will be no consecuences from the Forbidden Book problem and also is sending Aron to live with them but... it turns out the King has a secret son, brother to Aron, that lives in the human world, and they are ordered to find him. He knows not his name, or any other thing, but the boy has a black star mark on his upper left arm. Poor Ranze's parents really feel doomed at the tone of the letter... Meanwhile, Aron tells Ranze about the teleportation from the Makai to the human world, and that she supposedly appeared in the place she wants to be in the most. Ranze is happy to realize that such place is where Shun is. Aron tells them that he is going to be living with them, and says the real reason is because he wants to be with Ranze... then he tells Ranze that he likes her!
Chapter 7
Ranze is shocked! Aron likes her?! Behind the door, Morli, Sheera and Rara listen in surprise. Sheera couldn't be happier! Her little baby a... a... queen! Morli tells her to calm down, but Sheera has decided. Sheera tells Morli that Ranze will forget about that human boy. Sheera and Morli fight between them for Ranze and Rara tells them to stop and focus on the King's secret. Ranze ponders on the events that happen in the following days. Aron is a year younger than her and even though he is a prince, he looks just like a normal boy. But she still has Shun and sees only Aron as a friend. Morli and Sheera look at what good friends the three of them (with Rinze) seem to have become, and Sheera decides to take the family on a short trip, leaving Ranze and Aron alone! Aron and Sheera have an understanding... Ranze however, doesn't want it at all. It's the last day of class before winter break. The grades are given, and Youko (who is very happy to see Ranze so depressed) gets all 5s. She laughes at Ranze's horrible grades... until it turns out that Shun got exactly the same grades as Ranze! Ranze is very happy... she asks Shun what he is going to do during the vacations and he says that he is going to train. Ranze is about to ask him something about the next day (Christmas), but Shun turns around and tells a guy (the one Shun found admiring Ranze during the sports day) to go accompany Ranze on her way home. The guy runs away in horror and shyness while poor Ranze wonders sadly about Shun... she really wanted to be with him on Christmas. When Ranze arrives home, she finds Aron dressed up as a houseWIFE (heel shoes included!). The poor girl has to run away from him as he tries to feed her dinner and go all wifery on her (^^;;; ). Finally Ranze hides in one of the basement doors, where she crashes into Sand! Sand tells her that it's a "door into the past." Aron appears (poor Sand almost has a heart attack at his looks) and tells Sand that he is interested in Ranze now. Sand is not too convinced about the whole thing. After dinner (with a short intermission with Morli wondering about Ranze's feelings and forgetting that his wife is in full wolf mode because of the moon... ^^; ), Aron tries to force the "wedding" idea into Ranze, but Ranze is horrified at the whole thing and tells him that she can't become his bride because she likes another (human) boy. Aron is mad that she would prefer a human instead of a prince like him and tries to force a kiss on Ranze, but she breaks appart and runs away! She bites a dog and manages to get away as Aron watches and says he is sorry. Ranze returns to herself and finds she has come all the way to Shun's appartment building. Inside, Shun hears the doorbell and opens the door, thinking it's his mother. He is very surprised to see Ranze (freezing and wearing no shoes). Ranze asks him to come to her Christmas party, even if it has to be after his training... she sheds some tears because she is really scared, and after a moment, he agrees to go. Before Ranze leaves, he gives her his jacket and a pair of sneakers. Next day (after spending the night with her door blocked with all her furniture) Ranze starts to prepare the food for the party. Sand appears and tells Aron that he knows the guy Ranze likes and takes him to the boxing gym. Aron decides to dare Shun into a boxing match (in his most high-handed way), and even though he is very strong, he is pretty useless, so Shun beats him into a pulp (^^;;; ). Back in home, Ranze is all happy cooking things. Aron (nursing his bruises) is not too happy, but he seems to have a hidden arm in the form of a small bottle... At the gym, Youko discovers that Shun is going to Ranze's house, so the whole bunch ends up there! (Poor Ranze... ^^;;; ) Shun and Aron see each other and Shun wondres if he is Ranze's cousin. Ranze stops Aron before he says he is her fiancee... Ranze is shocked to know that Aron and Shun had a boxing match earlier. The party goes on and Aron decides to act. He pours a couple of drops from the stuff in the small bottle into Ranze's glass, but Sand sees it and makes the glass disappear before Ranze can take it! Sand tells Aron that even though he understands his feelings, he can't do this. Aron gets the glass back but it ends up in Youko's hands! Before she can drink, Aron tries to get it back, and the liquid ends up spilling all over Ranze, who licks it from her lips! Aron asks her if she is all right. When seeing him, Ranze's eyes suddenly glaze over and she attaches herself to Aron's arm in an amorous way, asking him not to let her go. Shun's expression turns into stone at this and Ranze absently-minded tells the group to leave, telling Aron she wants to be alone with him. Everybody leaves and Shun asks her if there is something wrong with her, but Ranze just acts dumb and Youko drags Shun away wondering aloud if cousins can marry. As they walk away Shun is stuck with the sharp contrast between Ranze's crying face from the evening before, and her glazed expression just now. Back to the couple, Aron asks Ranze if she likes him, and she says that she does... very much. Aron slyly thinks that Ranze is now his!
