Here I will include the synopsis for the stories contained in this vol. ^^ You can read on, or use the menu at the right to jump to each different story.

All synopsis are by Zahara Medina, and cannot be used anywhere else without her permission. As she is just a student of Japanese, any help, comments or corrections are more than welcome! ^^; (And please remember to buy the original manga if you like these summaries, the synopsis are nothing compared to the real thing! ;)

Usotsuki na Season: Part 01. [version 1.0] A tall, dark haired student is showing Miyabi, an exchange student, around the school. His name is Natsuo-kun and he seems to be very smart and polite (he calls Miyabi by "Miyabi-dono," which is something akin to "Lady Miyabi" ^^; ). Miyabi is surprised that he remembered her name, but he just smiles and says, "Of course." A new cute exchange student, he adds, is of the interest of everybody (classmates, the school's newspaper...). Besides... he happened to overhear that she has a spiritual power, is that true? Miyabi frowns a little upset at this and asks him what he means. But Natsuo just winks at her and tells her to stop playing dumb, that gathering information is his ability. (true information, I guess ^^; ) Miyabi looks to a side and claims that it's not an spiritual ability, she just sees some ghosts. Natsuo smiles, encouragingly. "Can you bend spoons?" "CAN'T!" Miyabi is by now probably wishing she could turn he into a ghost. Her heart pounds and we see a small pendant she is wearing underneath the uniform, with a seed in it. But her attention is suddenly grabbed by a poster on a wall. "AH! Romeo and Juliet!" Miyabi is all exclamations. "A performance by the Theater Club? Cool!!" She then closes her eyes dreamily and leans her hand against her hands... "I looove this story *heart mark*" Born in enemy houses.... Romeo and Juliet's fatidic meeting.... The confession of their love in the balcony... nothing but both their feelings and the tragedy that will arise.... The misunderstanding of Juliet's apparent death by Romeo and his suicide by drinking poison.... And after waking up to find him death, Juliet's own suicide.... In their death, their love will link them for eternity...... "Romantic~~~ *heart mark*" Heart surround Miyabi everywhere... "F.o.o.l.s." Miyabi turns sharply to look at Natsuo not very happy. "What?!" Natsuo obviously doesn't think much of their suicides and stuff, cynic that he is, and Miyabi doesn't seem to think much of him for this (^^; ). But then he adds that the performance is not stopping as one would think after having had problems with paranormal experiences! Miyabi goes "EH?" Natsuo adds with a mysterious air around him that this performance has a history.... 5 years ago, while on stage during the performance of "Romeo and Juliet," Juliet, occupied by a young female student, died from a heart seizure. Then the Theater club became the Abandoned Club. But this year, he goes on, the Theater Club is active again with the performance of "Romeo and Juliet." Miyabi is impressed by the story, but before she can think of anything to say, somebody appears behind her, a very pretty student. Natsuo is surprised to see her. "Yuina!" The girl smiles prettily. "Yeees, Kan." Miyabi sweats. Waaah... Beautiful! Yuina spanks Kan (Natsuo's first name) for collecting data about the Theater Club again, and then he introduces her to Miyabi. She is in the same class as them both plus she is also in the Theater Club. Her name is Akiba Yuina. Yuina "victories" with her fingers all smiles and adds, "Childhood frieeeends." Then she asks if he's showing her around. Kan agrees and then he suddenly seems to remember that... Miyabi is looking for a club to join! (First news for Miyabi, of course ^^; ) Yuina is very happy for this, and even more when Kan suggests that Miyabi enters... the Theater Club! After all, she likes "Romeo and Juliet" so much, doesn't she? No matter how poor Miyabi tries to deny all of this, between Kan and Yuina they have both decided her fate and soon enough Yuina is dragging her half way around the school to the club's room. (^^) Once there, Yuina introduces her as the new member of the club and all the other members seem delighted to have her there so Miyabi has no other option but to introduce herself (Kan didn't have time to actually tell Yuina Miyabi's name... ^^; ). However, when Miyabi finishes, she suddenly realizes there is something wrong in that room, there are hints of ghosts in there. Back to reality, Yuina leaves her in charge of one of the club members, a cute girl called Yuasa Izumi. She is in charge of preparing the costumes for the performance and Miyabi likes her right away for her eagerness. Yuina appears again and demands to see the Juliet costume (she is Juliet), and notices that Izumi didn't sew some beads in the front as she was supposed to. Miyabi exclaims how pretty the dress is as it is now, but Yuina will have nothing of that shouts at Izumi demanding her to follow the design. Miyabi. doesn't. like. that. "But isn't it, my own costume I sew myself?" Yuina gets angry at this too. "No way! In addition to being the club president and the leading actor I also am in charge of the scenario and am the director, I'm too busy! I can't be responsible of more duties!" And then storms out of the room. The whole club looks in silence with sweat drops over them... (Probably because probably nobody ever asked her to do it all ^^; ) Miyabi looks at Izumi sweating and says Yuina is a scary girl. Izumi says that she tries just as hard (as Yuina)... and then her face turns darker and she murmurs, "I'm not an inferior person..." After school in her room, Miyabi reflects on the day's events.... A guy from the school's newspaper... a domineering lady for the Theater Club president... And in addition to all that, an ghost's intense smell of hate in the club's room. Miyabi sweats just to think about it all (and so do we ^^;;; ). Next day, Yuina informs them that they are going to try on the costumes. Once in it, she looks really beautiful and says the "Romeo!" line very convincingly... so much that Miyabi is really surprised at how good she is and looks! Next to her, Kan arrives with a photo camera and takes some shots of her, commenting how good she looks... (Something Miyabi doesn't quite like... ) But as she is replying him, she suddenly feels the presence of a ghost again! She takes a hand to the pendant around her neck and as she covers it slightly, she sees the shadow of a ghost right behind Yuina! Miyabi grabs Kan's sleeve telling him to look at Yuina's way, but when he looks, he just yells at Yuina to be careful! Right over Yuina, one of the lights seems to have come disengaged and falls right over her. However, the ghost pushes Yuina out of the way in the last moment to Miyabi's shock! The ghost helped?! Everybody runs to Yuina very worried, but she says she is ok, but a little shocked. Everybody is running around as shocked as her until some girls find something even more shocking, a strange writing over the windows in... blood?! 'Juliet is my position.' The girls of the club are really scared now and, of course, the matter of the girl that died 5 years ago shows up in everybody's minds. Was it her ghost? Kan turns around to look at Miyabi and calls her "Inspiration girl" (because she made him look that way). Then asks very pointedly if she saw something. Miyabi nods shyly. "REALLY!?" Then he proceeds to tell the rest of the club members, to their horror! Miyabi can't believe he did that and tries to make him shut up. But Yuina interrupts them and shouts at them that of course it was no ghost, just an accident. WASN'T IT? The club members freeze. Literally (^^;;; ). "Ye... Yes...." Well, then, back to practice! Izumi goes to Miyabi and asks her if she really saw a ghost. Miyabi nods. "A little, in the stage..." "The ghost of a girl?" "Yes, but...." The idea of a curse... Kan appears at her side and shouts to the world to hear. "The ghost of a girl, indeed!" Miyabi, "HEY!" Kan notices Yuina is hugging herself and shaking slightly. Then he goes onto the stage and realizes that the cable that supported the light has a clean cut.... Next day, the school's newspaper is making a record sells with their great front-page news! The accident in the stage: The girl who saw the ghost, Miyabi, and the tragic heroine, Yuina. The school can't stop talking about it and both Yuina and Miyabi demand reaaally good explanations from Kan for publishing that (^__^;; ). Kan calms them but can't stop Yuina from storming out of the room (again). Miyabi comments that Yuina is very tense. Kan tries to get more information out of Miyabi, and uses her first name, to Miyabi's disgust (using her first name after knowing each other for so little is a very intimate thing to do ^^ ). However, when he comes near her... her heart starts to beat louder. Of course once finished, he just goes on his merry way leaving Miyabi wondering about it all. (^^; ) Later on in the Theater Club there are really big problems. Miyabi found Juliet's costume spotted with blood! Yuina appears and spanks them all for thinking again about ghosts and the sort. Izumi is of course charged with the responsibility (which she doesn't take well), but Miyabi grabs the costume and says she will clean it, even though Izumi tells her that she doesn't need to. But as she cleans the cloth, she realizes that it's not blood, just ink so there is somebody... A shadow appears in the mirror in front of her and after a moment of doubt, Miyabi takes out the pendant and covers it with her hand. The ghost of a girl in a Juliet costume appears in front of her. "5 years ago, I died. The stage became a hit, that was my modest wish.... Together with the girl (Yuina) I want to see Juliet being acted one more time, too. You must stop that student...." The ghost disappears and Kan is now behind Miyabi and she asks for help. Miyabi and Kan sit on the stairs and talk about just happened with Yuina on the stage, then he tells her about the cable of the light being clean cut (so it wasn't an accident, somebody cut it). So then, who is that person? Miyabi tells him about what the ghost told her, and tells Kan (who is sweating a lot at this) about her pendant (while she wears it, she can't see the ghosts). Later on, in the middle of the club room, Miyabi asks Yuina if she is going to practice along that evening and Yuina says, indeed. After some teasing from Miyabi's part, Yuina whispers to her if it was ok like that, and Miyabi tells her that it was a good performance. Meanwhile, somebody in the room has heard about Yuina's practice... And indeed, late that evening, when the school is empty, a girl walks to the clubs room with a hammer in her hand... opens the door and is about to hit Yuina, who is sitting giving her back to the door when Kan covers the intruder with a blanket! Gotcha! Miyabi posing as Yuina turns around to see who it was and when Kan lets the girl go... "Izumi-san!? No way...! Why??" Izumi holds her head with her hands and realizes it is Miyabi and it was all a trap, then confesses about the writings, the stage light and everything... Juliet should never be played again, she exclaims, crying. The girl who died 5 years ago was her older sister, she tells a very surprised Kan and Miyabi. When she heard about "Romeo and Juliet" being staged again she was very shocked, Juliet was her sister's position! Nobody else should play it! But Miyabi smiles soothingly and tells her that she has heard her sister. That she wants to see Juliet being played again and other things that manage to sooth Izumi-chan, to Kan's admiration. The ghost appears again and hugs her little sister. "Izumi... thanks...." Out of the room, Yuina is waiting for them both to their surprise and spanks them friendly for not telling her about their plans. Then she starts fighting with Miyabi because she's wearing her costume and... *shouts* *yells* *insults* (^^;;; ) Finally the play is staged without any problem, and it gets a very nice coverage by the newspaper. Miyabi and Kan comment about it and Miyabi's heart skips a beat when Kan leans over her and calls her "cute spiritualist"... "Both of us can make a great team!" (Nobody like him to destroy the mood) Every case is paid 20,000 yen and... ...and Miyabi has had enough and starts chasing him! (^^) Next Chapter
