Mou DEBU nante iwasenai! --Story Overview--

Hina-chan is just like any other young woman/girl: She likes beauty creams, she goes to work by train in the middle of the rush hour, she works in the offices of a sport wear company and her skirt is getting way too tight.

On the other hand, her co-worker and friend, Megumi is how an office lady should really be: beautifull, thin, always at the service of the business men and serving coffee to everybody... Hina-chan really wonders how on Earth can Megumi be so ... well, you get it ^^;
However, one of the managers needs Hina-chan and no Megumi to their surprise! Hina-chan is pushed into the conference room where a meeting is going on. As she enters the room, the rest of the business men (man, do they look realistic! -_- ) look at her and seem to laugh very happy with themselves. As Hina is wondering what all of this is about, another co-worker enters the room, Tabura. A not-exactly-in-his-best-times young man.

What's the deal? Well, the managers have thought about this great campaign for their sport clothes, you see, they will use Hina-chan and Tabura for diet-like ads and so, both of them must now loose weight!
Hina doesn't like this at all and is quite ashamed, so she denies the offer and walks out of the room--just to hear the rest of her co-workers laughing about the whole thing and her and Tabura's appearance!

Days later, Hina is still thinking about those comments as she takes some books from the library. Accidentally, she crashes against somebody and sends the poor soul to the floor. It's a nice looking young man with dark hair and wearing glasses.

As Hina-chan reads the books, she notices that he is looking at her all the time and they both finish going out for dinner (^^). His name is Kanemoto and the poor man can't really keep up with Hina's hunger, but he is a really nice guy to be with and so Hina is really happy.

At work, Tabura has accepted the diet-thing-plan and the poor man is close to his end, exercising around with several layers of clothes on him and eating close to nothing. Megumi teases them both (and not that Hina likes it -_-).
Later, the manager who had the diet-plan idea gets spanked (because Hina is not colaborating), so he introduces her to Akai-kun, thier cameraman. He is not happy and she is not happy and there ends the manager's happy dreams of Hina helping with the ad (^^; ).

When Hina arrives home (munching on something), she sees there is a call from Kanemoto-san and they meet on the next day. It seems Kanemoto is in real need of some money, and Hina-chan can't help but giving him some money... (2 million yen, in fact).
But when she goes to visit him at his house later that day for having a nice dinner she finds out that he has disappeared.

Police tells Hina that the guy is famous for mellowing fat girls and stealing their money. Poor Hina is left alone and with all her savings gone... and on top of that, when she yells her anger, her tight skirt tears appart! It's way too much for her, and the next day she announces she is taking the diet-plan deal!

So, poor blushing, ashamed, mad Hina is put into a cute sport top and pants along with Tabura-san for taking the photos. And Akai-kun, the cameraman is re-introduced to them. He tries making friends with Hina, but because he commented on their weight, she is not exactly ready to befriend him back ;)
They start taking the photos of Tabura--who is very proud of his belly--and Megumi is all around Akai-kun offering him tea and other things (he is a really cool-looking guy, you see). And meanwhile, Hina is wishing Megumi could remember her work and Earth could open under her feet. The shame only continues when it's her turn for the photos and she just messes it all up... ^^; Not a good day for Hina-chan.

And so the plan starts! Hina and Tabura exercise and eat together as Akai-kun takes photos of them all the time. Megumi is always around, giving Akai-kun his lunch (while Hina and Tabura get a really... em... meager one ^^; ).
After the work, when Hina is going out of the building, she sees Akai-kun wating for her. He offers her a ride, but she still doesn't like him too much. Akai-kun, however, does manage to leave a book (where some of his photos are published) in her hands before leaving.
But because the bad things never come alone, when she arrives home, she finds her parents waiting for her! They came to visit because they are very worried about Hina (because of the thief), but she brags and tells them that... em... she does have a boyfriend... *looks at the photo book...*

And so, Akai-kun is introduced to Hina's parents and they all spend some very happy hours. So happy that her parents accept him totally and ask him to take care of their daughter (something very typical in Japan that means they are accepting him as her boyfriend/husband-to-be). When they are gone, Hina gives Akai an envelope with 30,000 yen, as promised. But he refuses it saying that it was a really nice time and gives her an envelope from her father (he gave it to Akai-kun while Hina was in the toilet). The envelope contains some money and Hina-chan stars crying about men and money and life, making Akai-kun end up cheering her up. Once in home, Hina mentally begs pardon to her parents for the lie (that she has a boyfriend) and ends up looking at the book with Akai's photo with dreamy eyes...

Tabura and Hina keep on exercising and dieting, but Tabura is looking worse and worse and his mood keeps on getting darker and darker... After some depressing talk with Megumi (who he obviously likes) he ends up giving up on the diet-plan. He is happy for Hina-chan, however, because she has the support of Akai, which who she seems to be great friends now.

But the plan doesn't seem to work well, as Hina doesn't even loose a kilo. The manager cuts her food even more and Hina starts to look really bad (to Akai's worry). So Megumi gives them a tip and Hina goes to a beauty clinic, where an adviser revises her diet completly and Hina starts to look healthy again.
Akai-kun quits his job as the cameraman quite suddendly for another project, but they keep on seeing each other and Hina ends up hinting at her feelings. In his home, Akai looks at the photos he took of Hina-chan....

In the work, Megumi and Tabura see Akai, who is looking for Hina. Megumi doesn't like this at all and tricks him into meeting her after she changes into street clothes (Tabura doesn't like this at all, as well). When Hina is going down, she sees Akai, but before she has time to call for him... Megumi appears and they both go away together!

On the next day, Hina-chan asks Megumi about it and she just teases Hina about them going out the evening before and, well, good luck with her training. (evil woman -_-)
Hina-chan, indeed, tries her best with her diet and exercise, but she can't keep Akai out of her mind and ends up pretty depressed.... She is quiting the diet plan.

Tabura and Hina go to have some food and beer after work and Hina drunks herself up because of her depression. Meanwhile, Megumi and Akai, who is getting really tired of Megumi and wants to see Hina, are walking around. Because Akai is getting really suspicious of her, Megumi just pulls him into the nearest restaurant, that happens to be the one where Tabura and Hina are in!
Megumi tries to take him away, but he goes to Hina. Hina, all messed up with her thoughts (and the beers ^^; ) just kicks him and walks away!

Akai goes after her and Megumi tries to stop him. But Tabura doesn't let her go and tells her that he likes her and to stop trying to get between Akai and Hina.

Poor Akai tries to put some reason into Hina's head (the poor guy doesn't know what the heck he did to her for her to be like this with him), but then Hina-chan stops suddenly... Kanemoto!
The bastard is in his way of getting money out of another poor, naive obese girl when he sees Hina. He starts to run away and, to Hina's great surprise, Akai chases him!
The girl defends Kanemoto, and Hina makes up and explanation for her not to be heartbroken as she, herself, was when she discovered Kanemoto's trick. Later on, Akai comments on how good a person Hina is and denies liking Megumi at all.

He confesses his feelings for her and adds that for him, she is very beautiful.... and they kiss.

Weeks later, the new campaign begins and is very succesful. A thinner Hina is friends again with Megumi, who seems to be still envious of her dating Akai when... Tabura (still looking the same) appears behind her and asks her where shall they go today! Megumi blushes furiously and Hina-chan is in shock that she is dating Tabura (since he is so much everything she doesn't look for in a man ^^).
And after work, Hina meets Akai outside the building. She may be thinner now, but that's not what makes her life happy! ;)
