I hate spiders.  No, I'm not trying to pretend I'm a delicate woman.  I normally can't handle things like cockroaches, reptiles, amphibians and other types of things that normally make girls scream.
This time I didn't have the time to find resource materials for the spider so when I asked  my manager for help, (Y)shita-san very kindly took the job and he instantly brought a
"Hard cover, full color, very realistic, spider only photograph collection!"
... to me.

At the end of volume 1 I wrote along the lines of, "designating clothing takes me a lot of time."  However, actually it hasn't been like that recently.  I've noticed, "Even if I've coordinated the entire outfit, only the top half shows up" type of thing, so there's a lot of things that make the author cry.
It's especially useless to make them for Kobayashi-kun.
Why? Because he quickly becomes naked. (laugh)

To match the character images which changed from volume 1, Fubuki's hair style and clothes were also changed.  Clothing is difficult.

It seems that my image has been completely warped.  So, this time I'm trying to verify in what way I'm a cradle robber.

Morio fits (2).  Actually I don't have much in the way of aesthetic sense so I don't really understand that area.

Sign: "Speaking of Logic Puzzles"

Please attempt a logic puzzle like the ones in the story.
Q: 10 rolls were divided amongst the 4 Kobayashi and eaten.  How many of which rolls did each one eat? (Answer is in the bottom box of the last chapter [in this volume])
1) There are 2 each of 5 types of rolls: almond, chocolate, plain, raspberry, and strawberry.
2) The amount each person ate is different.  Each person ate at least 1.  No one ate both of 1 type of roll.
3) Yamato and Fubuki ate at least 1 each of the same type of roll.  Ditto for Fubuki and Chihiro.  Ditto for Yamato and Chihiro.
4) Yamato didn't eat raspberry or plain.
5) Fubuki didn't eat almond or strawberry.
6) Kengo ate raspberry.

1) About liking good looking boys.

In other words the world of the "Jo*ny" type boy. [Translator's note: "Jo*ny" type = clean-cut, normal boy]
I've frequently seen them on TV, and I don't dislike them, but I don't seem to be interested enough to be able to tell them apart.
... even though I say that, since passing the age of 20 it's true that everyone gets interested in that [area] at least once. (laugh)
I also frequently watched SMAP [Translator's note: SMAP = a j-pop group].  However that case isn't "cradle robbing".  I think it's just a normal reaction when one grows up.

Actually, when I was in my teens I disliked children.
They're noisy, dirty, and I really thought I'd stomp on those kids running through the supermarket.  Really.
But somehow that was just my budding maternal instinct.  (laugh).  Isn't it strange.

I like how pure children are.
Like how they're fearless since there're still so many things they don't know.
And how they aren't calculating and are straightforward.

Morio: Of course one can't get through the world with just that, but-
      I feel the basics of humanity are around there.  It's hard on oneself to just doubt people.

Living gentle and straightforward is really difficult.
Kobayashi-kun's personality has my ultimate admiration.
That's how it is.

I (rather unusually) like the cover illustration of Chihiro-kun on the back of this page (the previous page).
The general idea being "I woke up at 7:00, before the alarm went off and it feels great". (laugh)  The caption in the magazine was "What traps shall I set up today?"  It appears to be popular with the readers as well.
Good job (Y)shita-san. (laugh)
Bordering this area, Chihiro has become remarkably a bit picturesque.  <laugh>
Well, I don't have any aesthetic sense.

Chihiro: Whatever you do with other guys,
         just draw me with a handsome face.
