Synopsis

All synopsis are by Zahara Medina, and cannot be used anywhere else without her permission. As she is just a student of Japanese, any help, comments or corrections are more than welcome! ^^;
Please, go to the Image Gallery to see the covers in full! ^^
(And remember to buy these tankobon if you like the summaries, it's the best way of thanking the authors and the synopsis are nothing compared to the real thing! ^^ )

Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

Chapter 6 (Apr'2002) [ vol.02 ]

NOTE: Not a very detailed or good one this week due to time and me doing this at 3:35am ;_; . Sorry!

Three days later sees Kyouko working at a gas station (*). Kyouko knows that Daruyama's boss is not too happy with her decisions even though he hasn't said a thing. (And again, Kyouko has been covering for another girl working there... ^^; )
Kyouko has been thinking about the audition, about what Ren told her and about all the things she thinks she can't do right now. While Kyouko tends a bruised ankle (thanks to another of her self-depressing rants ^^; ) with her coworker, they see a new commercial on TV... with Shou! The other girl is very happy, though Kyouko... well...

The girls are called outside, where a mini-van is parking for service. Kyouko sees the letters on its side and can't believe it, but it's true! It's from Shou's agency! And from it, the man himself steps out to stretch a little.
Kyouko would very much like to send him flying with a good hit, but instead attempts to hide herself, since she hasn't exactly become what she promised him she would (more like, stepped down work-wise...). Her coworker meanwhile is happily asking Shou for an autographm which he is happy to give. The girl talks about the TV CM they just saw and says her coworker (Kyouko) loved it! Kyouko attempts to stop her from going further (and can't believe she said such a lie), when her cap falls right in front of him!

But to her utter surprise, Shou just simles and says that a handshake would be ok, and does so. He then happily turns back to get into the minivan. Kyouko stops him and asks him if he doesn't remember/recognize her. He smiles a little slyly with a "tsk" and says that he is sorry, but he doesn't remember every single one of his fans' faces. Poor Kyouko is left behind, wondering that even though she cut and colored her hair...
In the van, the manager wonders where she has seen that face before, while Shou thinks that it's kind of a reminiscent of Kyouko, who he remembers as a cute, nice, long dark haired girl surrounded by flowers.

Back to Kyouko, her fury has awakened her evil spirits. When she is in home, she prepares to get drunk as she thinks how mortifying it is (to have been thinking all days about him in one way or the other while he just forgot her like that). Kyouko thinks that she is lost in a labrynth because she doesn't know how to get away from the problems and stress Shou causes in her. However the boss visits her and gives her a couple of words of advice, after which Kyouko is back to her fighting self!

(* - In Japan, gas stations give a total service to each car, with two or more people working on each at the same time.)

Chapter 7 (Apr'2002) [ vol.02 ]

Kyouko leaves for another try at LME after telling her boss that she has become a "daruma" (those owl-looking round eggy "dolls" with blank eyes where one is supposed to paint one eye before starting a task the other when finishing it. These things always return to a straight position when you try moving them to the sides).
Meanwhile, Ren and Sawada, the producer, talk about Kyouko, and the later gets the impression that Ren hates her (even though he says he really has no opinion about her).

Kyouko arrives at the LME building and manages to avoid the reception secretaries, unfortunately, she crashes into a famous star, an older woman called Kamio. Kyouko lets Ms. Kamio believe that she is a newbie that is going to work on some new section they are preparing, so Ms. Kamio turns her into her bags-carrier (^^; ). Eventually, they meet with Sawada, who is not happy to see Ms. Kamio at all, but is agreeably surprised to see Kyouko. After Kyouko pleads with him, she is shocked when Sawada easily accepts her into LME.

Ms. Kamio trots away and Ren helps Kyouko with one of the bags; she thinks that he isn't such a bad person after all. Ren explains Kyouko about the new section, the "Love Me Club," which is about, of course, love. Internally, Kyouko's demons are having a great time laughing themselves silly at that stupidity called love, until Ren delivers the news that she will be working there. Kyouko is horrified, but Ren jumps to another subject, the point system. He explains her that she will get points depending on how well she does her job. Lots of points equals the fact that she can debut.
However, Ms. Kamio sees that Kyouko dropped one of her make-up bags in her excitement and even more... she let Ren carry one of the bags! Ms. Kamio is shocked and... stamp! Kyouko now has a -10 points stamp on her cheek.
Kyouko doesn't understand well, but Ren is happy to supply with an angelical face that of course she got a penalty, since one is supposed to do one's job by oneself (aka, should have carried all the bags). Kyouko realizes that he knew about this when he offered to carry the infamous bag, and as he walks away, she wonders, really mad, if he hates her!

Chapter 8 (May'2002) [ vol.02 ]

Kyouko, Sawada and the LME President have a small talk. The president is impressed with her words about wanting rehabilitation in the field of love-ness... He gives her a stamp book for her point stamps.

Kyouko's first job for the "Love Me" section is to scrub gum from the floor in one of the hallways (while she is using her new uniform... really big, pink overalls (^^;; )). Kyouko is not exactly happy at this and people just keep looking at her and laughing... if she ever grabs Shoutarou...

Talking about which, the man himself is anjoying a break when he hears some girls giggling in adoration and smiles happy with himself... except that they are excited because Ren is there, not him! Shoutarou attempts to play the cool guy with him (thought he can't stand up because he is 12.5 cm smaller than him!), but Ren of course, turns the tables on him.

Back to Kyouko, she has finished cleaning that part of the floor, but then the rest of the floor looks totally dirty in comparison! So she just cleans, and cleans, and cleans until all the floor is shinning! But there is still something missing, so she proceeds to wax it... and everybody keeps on sliping and falling and insulting whoever had the happy idea! (^^)
Kyouko has to put up signs and gets a little spanking. Still, she gets 10 points in the stamp book and is back to 0!

Afterwards, Kyouko meets another of the LME idols, MATSUNAI Ruriko.
