Arashi Mitai Na was a one-shot story by CHITOSE Sakura published in the magazine The Margaret (Shueisha) in August 2001 (Notice that this is a side, different magazine than normal Margaret ^^ ), and later published in a tankoubon compilation titled Zettai Ryou Omoi ni nareru Kokuhaku - Best Hit The Margaret Vol.1 along with stories by other authors.

Arashi Mitai Na

Mika, a 16 years old student gets really bad news: her cousin Arashi is coming to live with her and her mother! The last time she saw him was ten years before and it wasn't a very... happy relationship between them, since Arashi spent most of his time making her life impossible. Arashi has grown into a really cool-looking guy, but he is the same as always and the first thing he does when arriving is joke about Mika's breasts (or lack of thereof)! (^^;;; ) Mika hates the way life is now and complains to her best friend at lunch time. Meanwhile, they spot Yoshida-senpai, the guy Mika likes. Arashi happens to hear Mika talking about Yoshida and jokes about it. However, he sounds a little weird when he asks her if she really likes Yoshida and leaves them after grinning at her. Mika remembers that grin, it was the grin he used to show before he would do one of this horrible jokes! Mika is now in total panic. However and to her surprise, when she returns home and goes to talk to Arashi, she finds Yoshida! Arashi invited him home and the three of them spend a good time talking. When Yoshida leaves, he even calls Mika by her given name! Later that night Mika reads books about making cakes (since Yoshida likes them) and is shocked by Arashi who leaves the shower semi-naked. Arashi simply cheers her about Yoshida and Mika wonders if he did it (inviting him) for her sake... Mika goes back to her cakes but she is pretty useless, so Arashi ends up helping her and they have a really good time together. Afterwards Arashi falls asleep and Mika notices how cool he is... While she is looking at him, he wakes up and leans towards her! He brushes some crumbles from her face and wishes her a good night before leaving, but Mika's heart is beating fast. Next day Mika gives the cookies to Yoshida, who likes them and thinks she is very cute, so he invites her for a date. Mika returns home very happy and runs to tell Arashi. Together they watch the sunset. Mika discovers that certain incident from her childhood she blamed on Arashi wasn't really that way. She doesn't remember to tell about the date... Yoshida tells Arashi about his date with Mika and Arashi reacts in a weird way. Later in home, he is very distant to Mika and wishes her good luck. Mika feels disappointed at this and cries without knowing why. Mika and Yoshida go on their date, but suddenly Arashi appears and stops him, then takes Mika away! Mika demands an explanation and Arashi simply says he likes her. Mika is shocked and wants to know why he was cheering her about Yoshida then. In all the excitment she falls down and when Arashi helps her up he kisses her! Arashi tells her that he tried to be a nice guy for her, but that's over and he likes her even though she hates him! Mika replies that she never said she hated him! She says she doesn't hate him but... maybe... likes him... Arashi gets *that* grin on his face (^^;;; ) and tries to bully her to take out that "maybe"! --The End--
