Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

NOTE! Ichiko (the true one, female, now wearing blonde wig) = Ichigou (real hair, passing as male) = Ichigo (same as Ichiko, name she uses for Kanzaki and Sousuke). The three are the same girl.

Chapter 5 (Jul'2001)
Ichiko arrives very late at the rehearsal (as Ichigou), still thinking about her liking Kanzaki. She and Kanzaki end up having to dance together. On the concert day Ichigou is very nervous, but they do the dance quite well and she and her brother are very excited about it. Later, after turning into Ichiko-Ichigo, she gets a call from Kanzaki on her keitai and he asks to meet her right away. He asks her if she is ok (after Tendou took her away so suddenly before) and she says that everything is fine. They sit on a bench and talk randomly. Ichigo realizes they are sitting in front of the place her friends wanted to go to... but her thoughts are taken away by Kanzaki, who falls asleep on her shoulder! (^^) After blushing and fussing about it, she ends up falling asleep on him as well. Unfortunately, her friends see Ichiko and think she is pretty mean for lying when she excused herself for not being able to go with them...
Chapter 6 (Jul'2001)
Ichiko arrives in class monday morning all happy and greets her classmate friends. She tells them she is sorry she missed the event on Saturday and asks them how it went. To her utter suprise, the girls just stand up and leave. Another girl hears them talking about Ichiko's lies (she looks like one of your average bulling class-queen). Later when they change into PE clothes, Ichiko can't find hers. She wonders aloud but the girl stops her "friend" from saying anything and nobody else replies. Before leaving the class, she tells Ichiko to look in the trash can... where Ichiko finds her gym clothes totally dirty. During a photo session, Ichigou is totally out of it, still worried about her sudden problems in school. She looks in a mirror and thinks that's not the real her. Kanzaki arrives and jokes with her, to which Tendou smiles. Ichigou goes after him and tells him he is wrong and she is not in love with Kanzaki (or so she wants to think). In the night, Ichiko goes down to the conivience store (conbini) to get some dinner for her and her lazy brother, bumping into Kanzaki in the process. He makes her walk with him and she discovers he is taking guitar lessons. Meanwhile the girls from her class see them together. Next day the girls ask Ichiko about her "boyfriend" and taunt her about she being with him that Saturday as well. They call her a liar and leave between laughes and insults. Ichiko arrives early at home and finds her mother there. She tells her that she is taking a break from school the following day. Her mother asks her the reason, but Ichiko can't make herself say it... her mother gets mad tells her in an irate voice that she will be late for work so she better hurry up and tell the reason. Ichiko still won't say anything, and her mother yells at her, asking why Ichiko is always making her so irritated! Ichiko is shocked and wonders if her mother has always had this feeling about her... She asks aloud if she hates her, and then runs away. Ichiko runs through the streets while she cries. She has been always trying her best... A couple of girls nearby comment on a Trijet CM. Ichiko looks at the Trijet posters that are everywhere. Another girl notices Ichiko and wonders if she is from Trijet, but her friend tells her that the one in Trijet is a boy, not a girl. Ichiko thinks that the face her Ichigou image shows is not hers... she can't do that anymore. Tendou happens to pass by and notices her standing there and crying. Ichiko thinks that she hates "Ichiko" and she has always hated herself, just as Tendou gathers her in his arms.
Chapter 7 (Aug'2001)
Tendou takes Ichigou to his appartment. Ichigou is still pretty depressed and says she doesn't want to go back home or to school, so Tendou offers her to stay at his place for the night and she agrees (in a guest room, that is ^^; ). Next morning Ichigou offers to make breakfast, and while they eat she wonders about Tendou's personna and what type of man he is. Tendou agrees to let Ichigou go with him to his work, while in school, Ichiko's friends wonder why she didn't come to school, but the nasty girl cuts them off. Ichigou is very excited to be at the TV station where Tendou is working that day. He lets her alone to do as she pleases and she ends up watching another girl's performance for a TV program. Ichigou thinks the girl is very cute, but then she realizes and says aloud that the poor woman tone deaf. Next to her, another guy has just said the same. The guy thinks Ichigou is a girl, but she tells him she is a boy. However the guy says that she has the airs of a girl... so Ichigou runs away very fast (^^; ) Tendou appears and meets the guy, Kiichi. He tells him that the boy was Ichigou, and he seems impressed. Tendou asks him if he will write a song for him/them, and Kiichi says, sure. Once alone, Ichigou catches her breath after the close call with Kiichi. She gets an email from Kanzaki in her keitai asking if she is ok. She replies she is not, and to her suprise, Kanzaki replies immediately saying he will meet her right away! So she meets him after he is finished with school and he wonders if she went to school herself. Ichiko wonders if to tell him about what happened or not, but is interrumpted by her nasty noisy classmates (calling her "Ichiko," of course). The nasty girl goes to them and asks Ichiko is she skipped school so she could go on a date with Kanzaki. Kanzaki is confused at them calling Ichigo, "Ichiko," and gets fed up with the girls and sends them away. The girls are mad at him for yelling at them and leave. Kanzaki is quite annoyed at them, but tells Ichigo that it's ok to be with him like they are now. He offers her his hand, and off they go! However, Ichigo is worried about lying to Kanzaki (about her name) and wonders if he would forgive her...
