Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

NOTE! Ichiko (the true one, female, now wearing blonde wig) = Ichigou (real hair, passing as male) = Ichigo (same as Ichiko, name she uses for Kanzaki and Sousuke). The three are the same girl.

Chapter 8 (Aug'2001)
Tendou tells Trijet that they are going to debut with a single. Ichigou is not very happy about this, but her thoughts are lost when Ken enters the room... The song was done by famous songwriter Sugimoto Kiichi, and Kanzaki is very surprised at this. Before they leave the meeting, Ken asks her very seriously why she left home and that their mother is worried. Ichigou won't tell Ken what happened, and instead tells him not to worry, but that she is not coming back. Ichigou asks Tendou if it's ok for her to stay at his place some more and he agrees, but asks her if she really likes herself. Ichiko goes home while her mother is out, to get her things and leave a note; when she leaves, she bumps into her friends from school... they are very sorry and ask Ichiko to forgive them. Later at school, when the class-queen laughes at her, she just shakes her tonge back and ignores her and her friend. While Ichiko is trying to learn the song lyrics, she hears Kanzaki singing his. He is very ashamed that she heard him singing. After a little crash into a fountain, Ichigo tells Kanzaki that his singing cheered her heart. He tells her that she is weird... but cute. Kanzaki takes Ichigo to his appartment since she is dripping wet from the fountain water. She is very nervous to be at his place, and even more when he tells her he lives alone. He gives her some stuff to put on while her clothes dry. But of course (and by pure accident ;) he catches her in undies.
Chapter 9 (Sep'2001)
Kanzaki closes the door back and waits outside while Ichigo feels like dying from shame (^^; ). However, when she steps outside and thanks him for lending her a shirt, he just says that he is sorry, but didn't really look (at her). Ichigo doesn't like the way he says it and leaves right away! Back to "work," Ichigou meets Kanzaki at the recording studio. She wonders if she is the only one feeling something (for the other). Ichigou tapes her part and observes Kanzaki recording his After the recording session, a fan meets Ichigou and gives her a fan letter. Ichigou is surprised and wonders if Kanzaki also gets lots of fan letters... As days pass by, the news about Trijet's upcoming CD-Single debut spread and they get very good promotion in the magazines. Tendou starts planing on interviews and their first live concert event. Meanwhile, Ichiko remembers she forgot to give the shirt back to Kanzaki, so she dresses up as Ichigo and goes to his place. She tries to just deliver the shirt and leave right away, but Kanzaki follows her. She is still unsure of what he feels about her and ends up crying even though she really doesn't want to. However, Kanzaki bends down and kisses her! A couple of fans identify Kanzaki and Ichigo uses the confussion to run away. He doesn't look too happy at this and Ichigo can't believe what just happened!
Chapter 10 (Sep'2001)
v.1.1 Ichigou is still thinking about Kanzaki's sudden kiss... and still living in Tendou's house. She thinks Tendou is an adult and it's a little scary. When coming back from school, Ichigo finds Kanzaki waiting for her, both of them walk together even though she is very, very nervous (^^;;; ). Ichigo sees something in the floor, looks like Kanzaki dropped an omamori (good luck charms in the form of a small rectangle), but when she is about to get it, he snatches it as if he wouldn't want her to touch it! Ichigo wonders what is it with him, and Kanzaki says he is sorry for the kiss... he hugs her and keeps on saying he is sorry, acting in a weird way. Trijet films their cd-single video as they jump in a group of fans and sing the song (while trying to avoid being harrassed to death by them @_@; ). After the song, Trijet is assaulted by all their fans and Kanzaki seems to recognize Ichigo in the crowd. However, when he seizes "her," it turns out to be Ichigou! Kanzaki rescues Ichigou and both run away from the fans. It starts to rain and they stop to rest under the cover of a closed shop. Kanzaki takes out the omamori and Ichigou asks if it's a present from his girlfriend... and he says so it is!! Now Ichigou knows why Kanzaki was acting so weird when asking her to forgive him for the kiss.
Chapter 11 (Oct'2001)
Ichigo takes some moments to digest the fact that Kanzaki has a girlfriend... Then she says she is leaving, even though he tries to stop her because it's still raining heavily. While walking under the rain, Ichigou tries to convince herself that it's ok and that what she is feeling is not "love" anyway. Ichigo returns home and meets her brother and her mother, who says she is sorry for what happened between them. Ichigou's mother leaves her in the care of Tendou and asks her if she likes Kanzaki, she replies she doesn't. Trijet's CD-Single is making the best-selling lists and while Ichigo is looking at it in a CD-store, Kanzaki finds her and drags her to a nearby river bank afer she almost screams his name in surprise in the middle of all their fans (^^; ). Kanzaki asks her if she has heard his song and she says she hasn't. Kanzaki sees her coughing and tries to touch her forehead to see if she has fever, but she backs away and avoids his contact. Kanzaki doesn't like this and tries to ask her what's wrong with her, while Ichigo tries to get away, his omamori falls into the water. Kanzaki rushes to look for it and Ichigo says she wants to help. Kanzaki tells her not to help because of her cold, but Ichigo goes into the water anyway and tells him that she will look for it because it was her fault that it fell. Ichigo finally finds it and Kanzaki thanks her... not that she is any happy for that. During work, Ichigou is having a really bad cold, coughing and burning with fever. Tandou and Ken take Ichigou to another room and Ken runs of to look for help. Kanzaki asks what's wrong and Ken tells him about Ichigou. Meanwhile, Tendou tries to make Ichigou take some medicine, but she is too weak, so he has no other option than put the pills in her mouth and give her water through a kiss!
