Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

NOTE! Ichiko (the true one, female, now wearing blonde wig) = Ichigou (real hair, passing as male) = Ichigo (same as Ichiko, name she uses for Kanzaki and Sousuke). The three are the same girl.

Chapter 22 (Apr'2002)
Ichigo blushes and breaks away from Kanzaki, before running away, she says he is sly for asking this kind of thing right after breaking up with his ex. At school, Ichiko's friends ask her to go out with them for some burguers, but she can't because of work, so they wish her luck and hope they can meet during winter break. Ichiko thinks that they are very busy during these vacations. She also thinks that the cloudy weather suits her feelings. Tendou and Ichiko arrive at the big ferry's wheel in Yokohama (? Might also be the one in Ariake) for a show. Ichigou just wants to play... (^^; ) As she stands around, she hears Sousuke's voice. Unintentionally she steps over some music partitures... from Sousuke! Ichigou is very sorry, but Sousuke says it's all right, and wishes him luck. As Sousuke walks away, Kanzaki asks him what he was talking about with Ichigou. Sousuke replies that nothing in particular, but that he does have something to talk about with Kanzaki. Sousuke tells him that he is in an agreement with Ichigo about her forgetting Kanzaki, therefore, he better stop intruding. The show starts (it's on TV) and it's Trijet's turn... but Kanzaki makes a big mistake with the lyrics of the song! Ichigou is very surprised and thinks that's not like him at all. (The poor guy looks pretty bad...) Kanzaki apologuizes profusely after the song to Tendou. Ken asks Ichigou to go out to have some food with him, but Ichigou gets a call in her mobile from Sousuke, who asks Ichigo to meet him because there is something he wants to give her. The "something" is a pile of reference books for her study! Poor Ichigo... (^^;;; ) Ichigo thinks he is a nice person. Later when they say their good-byes, Ichigo asks him what she should give him as a thanks for the books. Sousuke says it's fine, but Ichigo insists. Sousuke's expression changes as he says aloud that if that's the case then... he caresses her face and leans forward to kiss her! Ichigo panics and covers her mouth, but Sousuke simply kisses her on her forehead, then leaves. Ichigo looks at him with a blushed, sad expression on her face. She wonders if he is angry but... a kiss is something special. While returning, Ichigo sees Kanzaki training in an empty plaza. She is surprised that he is practicing so late at night. Kanzaki sees her and stops the music as Ichigo wonders aloud if he is practicing the spot in which he failed earlier that day. Ichigo catches herself and adds in a rush that she saw it on TV, but Kanzaki just says that he just can't make it perfect. Elsewhere, Sousuke remembers that he forgot to give Ichigo one last book, so he decides to go back and look for her. Back at the plaza, the paper bag with Ichigo's books gave away and Kanzaki helps her retrieve them from the floor. Ichigo says that she is intruding so she will now return home, but Kanzaki asks her not to go. He then seizes her hand and starts to kiss her in the mouth! Behind them, Sousuke watches the kiss in surprise.
Chapter 23 (Apr'2002)
Kanzaki and Ichigo break apart just to see Sousuke watching them in surprise! Sousuke runs away while Kanzaki asks her if she was meeting with Sousuke. Ichigo is very confused and is not sure what to reply. Kanzaki sees this and leaves, telling her not to have that face. Ichigo is left alone thinking that she did really wrong. Another day, Ichiko and Ken go out together to eat some crepes. Ichiko is really useless, so Ken asks her if something happened, but she is noncommital. Ken says that he wants to go look at rings, because he wants to wear one onstage during the New Year's festival, when they will be performing in the Japan's Diana(?) Disc Newcomers awards. Ken says that it's pretty impressive just to be nominated. Ichiko thinks that it's great that Ken is so excited about it, but she can't make herself be interested in anything. They overhear some girls recognizing them from Trijet, and Ken goes serious saying that it's bad that Ichiko has to use men's clothes. He tells her that she can tell him what she really thinks. Ichiko tells him that she is fine, really! But internally she tells him she is sorry, but she can't tell him. She wants to know what her real feelings for Sousuke are. Later, Ichigo waits for Sousuke at a train station. Meeting time was 6pm but it's already 7... so Ichigo wonders if he is not coming. Meanwhile, Sousuke himself is in home, also looking at the clock. Kanzaki comes out of the station and sees Ichigo. She tells him that she is waiting for Sousuke to study together. Kanzaki asks since when, and she tells him that since 6. Kanzaki is not too happy to realize that it's almost 8 now. Ichigo worries that he is not coming and internally thinks that it's because she hurt him so much. Kanzaki sees her worried face and gives her his scarf, then leaves. Ichigo thinks it's really warm. Sousuke finally decides to rush to the station at more than half past eight, and misses Ichigo by very little. The Awards day comes and Ichigou is impressed at the size of the theater and wonders if she is going to be able to make it. Sousuke is also competing, and when he leaves his room, he finds Kanzaki waiting for him. Kanzaki says that Ichigo was waiting for him the day before and asks him if he met her. Sousuke gets very angry and tells him to mind his own business, but Kanzaki smashes his hand against the wall and tells him angrily it is his business and if he likes Ichigo, then he shouldn't make her have those faces (worried, etc...). Backstage, Ichigo is very nervous and scared and looks at Tendou for confort, but Kanzaki appears and takes her hand and cheers her up. Ichigou takes his hand before going onstage. As Trijet sings, Ichigo feels her anxiety go away and instead starts to enjoy the feeling of singing... And the winner is... of course, Trijet!! Sousuke goes off stage as Trijet get their award and when looking back at them, he says he doesn't want to loose to Kanzaki.
Chapter 24 (May'2002)
Trijet is congratulated by their staff. Tendou tells them he will give them the one thing they really want and Ken jumps at the opportunity to ask for vacations (denied!! (^^; )). Ichigou asks Kanzaki what he wants and he says that nothing... but suddenly comes up with an idea, he wants a white scarf! Ichigou is horrified because she thinks he is refering to the one he lent her as she waited for Sousuke... She tells herself to return it fast-- But Kanzaki adds that he really is waiting for "her." They are called by Tendou, and Ichigou sees Sousuke looking at them. She sneaks away and calls him on the cellphone. Ichigo tells him she has something to tell him... So they meet, and they both attempt to say they are sorry at the same time (^^). Sousuke says he is sorry about the promise he gave (about meeting her and then not doing it). Ichigo tries to tell him about the kiss, but Sousuke covers her mouth with his hand and tells her not to say anything, he understands her feelings. However, he is not giving up! Together they look at some of thee exercises she did. Later, Ichigo goes to Kanzaki's appartament to return the scarf, but she can't decide wherever to go through with it or not... and Kanzaki catches her acting like an idiot (^^; ). Kanzaki teases her and jokes while Ichigo wonders about this unusual acting of his. She returns the scarf and wonders which high school will Kanzaki attend to. Of course it will be different from hers, but he wishes her good luck with her examinations. When Ichigou goes to work, she finds everybody preparing things like crazy. She has no idea what it's all about until Tendou grabs her and puts her into a press conference along with Ken and Kanzaki. Tendou announces the news about Trijet's upcoming last single and dissolution concert. Ken and Ichigou look at each other in surprise since they hadn't been informed about this at all. Tendou explains to the press that the year is up and Trijet members must part for the sake of better and newer pastures. He then proceeds to announce the writer for the last Trijet song, Sousuke Miyauchi! Kanzaki and Ichigou stare at this. Ichigou can't believe that their last song will be Sousuke's.... And, cheeeeese! After the press conference, Ken and Ichigou talk about what a shock it was to hear about the dissolution concert. Ichigou wonders about a weird feeling she is having... Kanzaki and Sousuke encounter each other in the halls and the brothers shake in fear at the sparks in the air. As the two change, Ken wonders if Kanzaki and Sousuke aren't having some kind of fight. Ichigou is so concentrated on her thoughts that she mistakingly puts on a skirt. Unfortunately that is the moment when Ken decides to leave, switching the lights off! Ichigou can't see a thing and tries to get to the light switch, but in the way, Kanzaki suddenly enters the room asking for Ichigou! Kanzaki mutters about not being able to see a thing and his hand goes to the switch... Before he can press it, however, Ichigou moves up against him, stopping his hand with hers. Kanzaki stares in confusion as a blushing Ichigou wonders what the heck she is going to do now.
