Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

NOTE! Ichiko (the true one, female) = Ichigou (real hair, passing as male) = Ichigo (same as Ichiko, name she used to use for Kanzaki and Sousuke). The three are the same girl.

Chapter 43 (Mar'2003)
Ichiko and Kanzaki are hot news in the magazines, who guess about their relationship. Because of this, Ichiko overhears some girls saying they are stopping being Kanzaki's fans and starts to have doubts. After class, Kanzaki meets her, but Tendou takes her away. Tendou says she is trouble for Kanzaki's future and Ichiko walks alone under the rain to Kanzaki's place, thinking this over. Kanzaki finds her waiting for him and invites her in.
Chapter 44 (Apr'2003)
Ichiko changes into some of Kanzaki's clothes because hers are totally soaked. She gets really nervous at the intimacy with Kanzaki and hides in the bathroom. Kanzaki says he is sorry and that he will walk her home. However Ichigo reappears and tells him there is nothing to apologize for, so she and Kanzaki start to... um, work on their physical relationship. Unfortunately Kanzaki's manager rings the doorbell and kills the mood. Kanzaki opens the door but doesn't invite him in, and the manager wonders if there is somebody else inside. He then says it doesn't really matter and gives him some stuff for his job on the following day. He also reminds Kanzaki to hurry up and break up with "that girl." Kanzaki tries to explain about that, but Ichiko puts on a brave face and tells him not to worry. She then thinks that there is only one thing she can do for his sake, so she proposes him not to meet again. Kanzaki seems in a bit of a shock, but Ichiko just keeps talking how it's just too many problems (for him). Kanzaki finally agrees and it's time for her to be shocked that he agreed so easily. Ichiko leaves his house and tries not to cry as she tells herself that it's the best thing she could have done. Some time later, Kanzaki's manager tells Tendou that they broke up. Tendou talks with Kanzaki and tells him that he is taking care of Ichiko.
Chapter 45 (Apr'2003)
Ichiko gets a part in a TV drama (short soap operas) in which Kanzaki will be as well. She hasn't received any news or emails or calls or anything from Kanzaki yet, so she is very happy at the chance of being able to see him. She tells Ken later on and Ken says he would have liked for her to tell him about her relationship with Kanzaki earlier, then he helps Ichiko with her lines. At the set, Ichiko is very happy that she gets to use the same school uniform as Kanzaki (it's a school story), but Kanzaki acts really cold towards her. They start with the rehearsals and while the staff thinks Kanzaki will do great, they are not so sure about Ichiko. However, Ichiko is thinking that perhaps she can also have the feeling of being a pro she sees in Kanzaki. She does a very good acting, surprising the hell out of Kanzaki. While resting, Tendou tells her he knows she broke up with Kanzaki and reminds her again that this is a very delicate time for Kanzaki's career. Although Ichiko understands this, she decides to talk to him once more. Kanzaki and Ichiko go to the roof terrace of the school. Ichiko says that they really haven't broken up, right? Kanzaki wonders what on Earth she is saying and starts to leave. Ichiko asks him if it's so bad for him to be with her, and that she is always very happy to be with him. Kanzaki gets angry and says it was she who said not to meet again, but Ichiko says that what she really wanted was for him to tell her to not say those things (about them breaking up). Ichiko runs away thinking that Kanzaki seems perfectly fine with being apart from her, but she can't stand it.
Chapter 46 (May'2003)
Ichiko and Kanzaki film their last scenes together for the day, and although he doesn't seem to look at her, Kanzaki is still very aware of Ichiko... but Tendou seems to be there all the time before him. Kanzaki's manager reminds him of his promise of not talking to Ichiko, and Kanzaki is getting really fed up of the manager always mentioning it. Tendou asks Ichiko to go out with him on the following Saturday. Ichiko talk about this with Chizuru, who says it's a date. Ken also thinks she is on a date because she has so many problems trying to decide on her outfit, but Ichiko keeps telling herself that's it's not, it's just... Tendou! When they finally meet they take the train. It's the first time that they take the train together (Tendou has a car and drives Ichiko everywhere), and Ichiko thinks that he looks like a normal guy today. At work, Ken bumps into Kanzaki. Ken is surprised that it wasn't Kanzaki who Ichiko had a date with. Kanzaki says he has work and Ken realizes what a big mouth he has. (^^; ) Meanwhile, Ichiko and Tendou continue on their "date" and she realizes it's the first time she has seen Tendou laughing like this. After she returns from buying ice-cream, she finds he has fallen asleep on a bench. She thinks that he is probably much more tired than she is, and that she should let him rest for a while since he is always taking care of her. Tendou walks Ichiko to her home. He mentions that from the following day of she will have a photo session and Ichiko thinks that even if it's bad not being able to talk to Kanzaki, not seeing him will be even worse. Tendou guesses she is thinking about Kanzaki, but she lies and says she is not, given they have broken up. Tendou hugs her. After he leaves she goes up to her apartment thinking that the excitement and a little of pain from Tendou's strong arms won't disappear... but then sees Kanzaki is waiting for her! Ichiko happily starts to ask if he came to see her, but he suddenly grabs her and starts pushing up her skirt! Ichiko is in shock and pushes him away. She demands to know what is going on, and Kanzaki says that then it's ok for Tendou but not for him. Ichiko realizes he saw the hug earlier and tries to explain, but Kanzaki is not interested and tells her with really cold eyes that she is the one who doesn't believe in them, but it's ok, since they are breaking up.
