Koi Suru 1/4 (yonbunnoichi) ran in the shoujo manga magazine Margaret. It's basically a high-school romance comedy (with drama moments, of course ;), but the characters are just so good that you will wonder how on Earth could you ever think all high-school romance manga are the same.

For one, the main character (Mike) doesn't start in love-at-first-sight with the male character (it's harder to find that nowadays ^_^), in fact, she is in secret love with his best friend (since childhood). But he likes another, as Mike will painfully discover. It's then when she slowly realizes that there is somebody else with who she "connects," even though he is not really giving in to start a relationship with her. (In fact, all the contrary ^^; ) Both are thick-headed when they want to and, thruthfully, they deserve each other! :P ;)

Koi Suru 1/4 is Tajima-sensei's second long-running series and it was quite a hit in the Margaret. It's ten volumes long and, oh, forget about many flowers in the backgrounds.
