Part 1 (Apr'2001)
Kayama Miharu starts in her new school with a kick when a classmate makes her feel welcome and turns out to be a fan of one of her favorite groups, Pump Up! Miharu thinks her classmate, Mizutama Mori, is a really cute and nice girl! However, she is in for a surprise because it turns out that "she" is a "he." Miharu is in shock and her new friends in her class understand her completely, as they also think Mizutama is so totally cute. Later in class, Miharu can't stop looking at him and thinking how much he looks like a pretty girl, not only in face but in voice also. After class, Miharu, Mizutama and the group of girls go around shopping. The girls want to bully Mizutama into trying on a pretty dress in one of the shops, but Miharu comes out to his defense and coldly reminds them that Mizutama is a boy. He is glad she did this and both of them become closer. One day when going to school, Miharu and Mizutama meet in the train. It's rush hour, so the train is really full and Mizutama ends up pressed against her (the top of his head reaches her eye level... ^^;;; ). Miharu is wondering about how close they are, when she realizes there is something wrong with Mizutama... a pervert is gropping him! Mizutama tries to reach for the pervert but she is too enclosed. To their surprise, a tall, dark haired, young man stops the pervert and accuses him in public, so he leaves the train in the following station very, very fast (^^; ). Mizutama thanks the guy a lot and Miharu observes that he is wearing the same uniform as them, so she wonders if he is in third grade. She notices poor Mizutama is crying, and he tells her that he is very ashamed, because the pervert obviously thought he was a girl. Miharu tries to cheer him up and says it's ok because he is charming. When they arrive to class, they discover that the guy who saved Mizutama is actually in their class! Actually, he is sitting at Miharu's desk and she has to scream at him for him to wake up (^^;; ). His name is Kawagoe and it turns out he is repeating course. Later when changing for phisical education class, Mizutama is being bullied by his classmates, but Kawagoe stops them. Mizutama is very thankful and seems taken by him. During class the boys play soccer and Kawagoe is really good at it, so all the girls are cheering him. Miharu sees poor Mizutama is trying his best and cheers him, however he is pushed down by another player and falls. That makes a penalty, and Kawagoe helps him up. Of course the other male classmates laugh at poor Mizutama, and even though he tries really hard to kick the ball well, it goes out in a weird weak angle. The guys laugh even more, which makes Miharu very angry, so she goes to the ball and produces a very neat gol, surprising everybody. But Mizutama keeps keeps on giving all his attention to Kawagoe, to Miharu's dismay! During the following days, Mizutama stays by Kawagoe's side while Miharu misses him and thinks she really wants to be with him. Because Mizutama has decided to enter the soccer club (of which Kawagoe is the captain), he tells Miharu that he can't return home with her anymore. To his surprise, Miharu announces that she is entering the soccer club, too! All the guys in the soccer club take a look at them and are oh-so-happy that they get such a cute, lovely new manager! Until Kawagoe tells them that Mizutama is, in fact, a boy (there goes Miharu's pride as a girl again...). Kawagoe teases them, but Miharu is resolved to become Mizutama's number one again.
Part 2 (Apr'2001)
During soccer practice, Miharu (sporting a cute hairstyle, with flowers included) cheers Mizutama and thinks he is so cute... and that today she is being cute as well! During a break, she goes to the team and announces she has made some snack for them. Mizutama is very happy because he has made some, too. Miharu is in shock when she sees that he has some really deliciously looking cakes, so she tries to hid her box. Unfortunately Kawagoe sees her and takes the box from her to see what she made... he thinks they are really plain looking cookies but tries to eat one nevertheless. Following Kawagoe's exclamations of disgust, she tries one herself... and is too late to stop Mizutama from eating one! (They are really bad ^^; ) Mizutama finishes the cookie bravely and even finds nice things to say about it, but Miharu is totally crushed. The team congratulates Mizutama on the cakes as they return to practice, and Miharu thinks Mizutama is more girl than her. However something is wrong with Mizutama, and he falls to the ground. Miharu is very worried about him, but it's Kawagoe who takes him in his arms to the infirmary. Once both of them are alone, Mizutama says he wants to be like Kawagoe because he is so cool. Looking at his blushing face, Miharu thinks that he (likes) Kawagoe. During class meeting, they decide who gets what role in the Cinderella stage stunt they are planning. The class decides to have Mizutama as princess because he is so cute, and, to Miharu's dismay and even though she tries to stop it, Kawagoe lands the role of prince. She gets to be one of the mice. (... ) Once dressed, Mizutama looks reaaally cute as a princess. He says Miharu looks very cute in her mouse costume and she is very happy. Right then, Kawagoe happens to arrive to class, and even with his best efforts, Miharu and another classmate stop him from running away and drag him back to the classroom. He gets dressed as the prince (ladies, don't drool) and Miharu teases him. However she turns a little sad when he sees Kawagoe and Mizutama together and thinks they look like a real prince and princess. As the preparations continue, Mizutama, Miharu and some girls are working on the costumes. Miharu is a little useless at it and ends up sticking her finger and drawing some blood. Mizutama immediately sucks the blood off to her shock and applies a ban-aid, as Miharu and the other girls watch blushing. Miharu's heart keeps on beating faster... Mizutama is all cute and naive about it, and when he is called away, the other girls pounce on Miharu. She denies being involved with Mizutama, and the girls laugh about how a girl wanting to be his girlfriend would have really cute to be cuter than him. Miharu thinks depressed about this. In another soccer practice, the ball gets kicked outside the field, so Miharu--still depressed--has to go for it. She finally finds it between the branches of a tall tree, and because the team is too busy playing, she decides to climb it herself (^^; ). As she is arriving to the top, she suddenly hears Kawagoe's voice as he talks with another female student. The girl wants to be his girlfriend, but he refuses politely. He discovers Miharu right then and screams at her for climbing like that. They end up ignoring each other and she tries to reach for the ball. Unfortunately that makes her fall... right onto Kawagoe. He is very mad at her and says that she really isn't cute, which makes Miharu cry, to his surprise. Miharu says that she wants to be a cute girl and that guys like him (Kawagoe) don't understand her feelings. Kawagoe is totally lost and tries to cheer her up, so he says that she also has a cute spot. Miharu asks, of course, where (poor Kawagoe ^^; ), so he, having no idea of what to say, ends up saying that when she is being silly. Miharu is very mad at him and tries to hit him, but he just keeps her an arm's length away by stopping her head, and her arms don't quite reach him. So he just sits there laughing and calling Miharu cute, while she keeps on trying to hit him. In that moment Mizutama appears and, blushing, asks what is going on--a concerned expression showing on his face.
Part 3 (May'2001)
Mizutama's expression of concern when finding Kawagoe and Miharu together changes suddenly into his usual happy face as he reminds Kawagoe that they have to go back to training. As they run laps, poor Mizutama is having a hard time when the coach keeps on pushing him to run faster and other members overlap him. He suddenly stops and says that he is quitting soccer club, to Miharu's shock! Miharu follows him and asks why he quit... he says that he is just being a nuisance to the rest of the team. She wonders if it's because of what happened before... Mizutama cuts her and says that he is shocked... As he sheds some tears, he tells her that he can't tell everything to her because she is his friend. Miharu is shocked at the "friends" words and starts to ask him if he likes Kawagoe. Mizutama cuts her again and says he is happy that Kawagoe is now only there for Miharu... Miharu stops him and runs away very angry. Miharu goes to Kawagoe and begs him to go to Mizutama's place... He does so and tells Mizutama that there is nothing between him (Kawagoe) and Miharu. Mizutama looks at him and starts to tell him that he likes--- Meanwhile Miharu is still at the club cleaning the balls and crying because she really likes Mizutama, but he only sees her as a friend. The day for the school festival arrives, and both Mizutama and Kawagoe are late. Mizutama appears all of a sudden wearing dark glasses and a mask... his mother decided to put some "cinderella make-up" on him! (^^; ) Kawagoe is still missing, however, so Miharu surprises everybody and dresses up as the prince. The audience is delighted with cute Mizutama and handsome Miharu. However, because of too much dry-ice fog, in the dance scene, Miharu steps out of the stage and falls! Mizutama reacts fast and manages to take the hit of the fall instead of Miharu. Miharu is very worried, but Mizutama tells her that he is alright... he blushes and says he doesn't want to quit the soccer club because he wants to become a strong man, so he can watch over Miharu. Miharu blushes surprised and says that he liked Kawagoe, right? Mizutama denies that strongly and says he likes Miharu! He says that the day before he told Kawagoe that he liked Miharu... Miharu is very very happy and hugs him fiercely exclaiming that she likes him too! All the people from the audience (mostly girls) start clapping and cheering (the poor couple had totally forgotten about them ^^; ), and then demand a kiss! Miharu tells them that no way, but Mizutama turns her head towards him, and kisses her to the delight of all the girls! Poor Kawagoe running to the school gets to hear the scream... (^^; ) And so, from then on, Mizutama and Miharu went always together, even though their relationship roles were exchanged! (And Miharu is the one who has to keep the pervs away from Mizutama... ) --The End--
