Synopsis

These synopsis are done by Zahara Medina and can't be used anywhere else without her consent. As she is just a student of Japanese, there are bound to be mistakes. If you spot any mistake, please report it to me, thanks! :) (comments are also appreciated....)
(And remember to buy these tankobon if you like the summaries, it's the best way of thanking the authors and the synopsis are nothing compared to the real thing! ^^ )

Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

Chapter 46 (Aug'2004)

Note: Dark haired Hanzou (our main character in this story, Hanzou Hattori) = Hanzou. Blonde Hanzou (main character of Tsuki no Toiki, Ai no Kizu) = Hanzou II.

Hanzou is about to kiss her, but Usagi can't help thinking he is doing this as his fake husband, not as himself and yells at him to stop. Hanzou asks her if he hates him so much. She tells him she doesn't, that of course she likes Hanzou-sama but... she can't do this fake thing anymore. Although he is perfect at everything he does, she just can't. Hanzou is surprised that she thinks he is "perfect" and says that if he were, he wouldn't feel so much regret at breaking off the engagement. He blushes and asks Usagi to forgive him for causing her pain. He says that he thought she would be better off with Goemon but--he adds passionately--the only one good for Usagi is himself. He asks a surprised Usagi if it's fine with her for them to enter a formal marriage courtship once they finish their current mission.
Of course Usagi agrees. (^^)
Usagi throws herself over Hanzou and hugs him. Hanzou says that if she is scared, they don't have to go to the meeting and can stop their mission now. Usagi denies this vehemently and says she wants to finish it so she can pass her ninja graduation and become Hanzou's bride. Hanzou is touched and moves closer to kiss her, but Usagi moves away and happily says she's too embarrassed. Hanzou thinks that her hugging and striding him is more embarrassing... Usagi ask if they can stay this way for a little longer and Hanzou allows her. However, nature continues its run and Hanzou is a man after all. Unfortunately for him Usagi falls asleep before he can continue what they were doing before... (^^)

Next morning Usagi oversleeps and Hanzou is back to his usual neat and orderly mode. As they leave the inn, the owner tells Hanzou he forgot his katana, earning him a really scary look from Hanzou... On their way, Usagi is again very tired, so Hanzou gives her a power-up ball of food. They start their usual friendly fights and Hanzou allows Usagi to take his arm.
On their way, Hanzou smells burnt wood and they find a burned down temple. There is someone else there too, Rikimaru! (Sara's ninja partner/bodyguard) He tells them to be careful around Nobunaga. He explains that Nobunaga heard rumors that ninja stayed at this temple and that's why he burned it down.

Chapter 47 (Sep'2004)

Note: Dark haired Hanzou (our main character in this story, Hanzou Hattori) = Hanzou. Blonde Hanzou (main character of Tsuki no Toiki, Ai no Kizu) = Hanzou II.

Hanzou feels Usagi's fear and presses her shoulder, telling her not to worry because she doesn't look like a ninja at all (not exactly what she wanted to hear...).
Rikimaru agrees and says the problem is Hanzou, not she. Hanzou II appears and tells them that he agrees, so he is making Hanzou appear as a samurai who is a distant relative of his. Hanzou is not too happy to have to be Hanzou II's underling...
Hanzou II asks them if they have brought a present for Nobunaga, but they haven't, so Usagi starts to prepare something with herbs she finds around. The poor girl stays up all night preparing it. As they walk on, Hanzou II notices how much closer Usagi and Hanzou have become, and Hanzou announces that he and Usagi will be formally engaged after they end this mission. Hanzou II is very happy!

They finally arrive at Azuchi city. They try to buy a tea bowl made in a famous style but some old guy steals it from right under their hands. Hanzou demands to have it returned and they fight over it with paper scissors rock, however the old man cheats and Hanzou II convinces Hanzou to let him go. Usagi gives Hanzou a present and he is so happy that Hanzou II asks Usagi what happened between them, and then is shocked at Usagi's suddenly womanly sounding response.
Hanzou takes Usagi by the hand and they walk towards the castle. On the way, they meet a lovely woman, who turns out to be Sara's sister, Princess Toku. She takes them to her quarters and invites them for tea. Usagi is a bit worried because the princess's style is just what Hanzou likes in women. And just when the princess is about to serve tea in a new bowl that both Hanzou and Usagi recognize... the old man enters the room! He is Nobunaga's Tea master, and right off the bat he announces that Hanzou is not a samurai from Okazaki as he claims to be!
