Chupa! manga synopsis.

Chupa! (Oct'2001)

Hitomi-chan is a schoolgirl too developed for her age, and so everybody thinks she is much older that what she really is! Poor Hitomi hates that, until she and her friend meet handsome (and older) student Takeru at a pet-shop. So Hitomi writes a love leter to Takeru but even though he says he is happy, he tells her to wait 5 years at least! Poor Hitomi is even more crashed when he says he hates kids! However, Hitomi's friend finds the perfect solution! Hitomi can dress up and appear like an adult girl! Hitomi uses her mom's clothes to appear older and goes to the petshop where Takeru works passing herself as her imaginary older sister, however, she kind of messes up and as the crybaby she is, she runs away (^^;;; ) Hitomi's friend gives her another opportunity and arranges a date between them. They have a good time together and Takeru admires how cute she acts. Unfortunately for him, they happen to bump into his parents... and his 3 young brothers! Now Hitomi knows why he said he hated kids, but in reality he is very kind to them. However Hitomi has to cut their date short because she has to be back home at five... (^^; ) Takeru calls Hitomi later on and they agree on a picnic along with his brothers. Hitomi finds a 4 leaf clover for Takeru. Later on, Takeru visits Hitomi's house and gaves her a baby hamster. Hitomi is sad because he (of course) only has eyes for her older self and not her normal self. She has to keep the hamster secret from her mom. The next day she meets Takeru, he asks her to meet him alone and Hitomi is very excited about their first real date; but when she goes look at the hamster, she discovers its gone! Hitomi looks for it all over the place and her mother discovers about it and drags her to the pet shop to return the cage and stuff. Hitomi cries to Takeru that she is sorry, but unfortunately while her mother is complaining to him, she lets it slip that Hitomi is an only child. Takeru is very angry at Hitomi for lying to him and sends her away. Hitomi doesn't give up on the little hamster and keeps looking for it while hurting because she thinks Takeru now hates her. However Takeru misses Hitomi and after he sees the 4 leaf clover she gave him... Takeru goes to meet Hitomi and tells her that she is looking for the hamster in the wrong place. They go to her room to look for it, but Hitomi hugs him and tells him she is very sorry but that she didn't lie when she said she likes him a lot! She asks him not to hate her... Takeru turns around and hugs her back and tells her that it's ok and that they have a lot of time to be together... In that moment, they both hear noises from the hamster (^^) After a long campaign between Hitomi and Takeru, they finally manage to convince Hitomi's mother to let her keep the hamster. Hitomi enters middle school and shows her new uniform to Takeru (who is now a University student ^^;;; ). Hitomi tells him she is now ready and wants a kiss! Takeru is shocked and starts to babble, so Hitomi just goes and kisses him! Poor Takeru has to remind himself that he is not to touch her until she is a little older! (^^) --The End--
