Random Walk manga synopsis.

These synopsis are done by Zahara Medina and can't be used anywhere else without her consent. As she is just a student of Japanese, there are bound to be mistakes. If you spot any mistake, please report it to me, thanks! :) (comments are also appreciated....)

Act 6 (November'2000, December issue)
Translation Available. Yuka is studing with her brother and he notices there is something wrong with her, so she tells him about Shiki and he seems a little surprised or concerned. At school, Yuka shows Katsura and Touko her new photo camera. She also shows it to Saori-senpai, a quite beautiful female student Yuka seems to admire. Yuka spends her free time taking photographs around. While she is in the gardens, she discovers the same guy she passed on the stairs after breaking up with Shiki. She is intrigued by him and thinks he is strange, but very pretty. Later she looks at the photos she took along with Youko-mama (to which she went crying after the breakup ^^; ). She is happy that Yuka seems to be back to her normal self and tells her a little about her feelings in the relationship with Yuka's father. Then she proposes Yuka to be a model for a teen's magazine (she has under her editor's job) and Yuka accepts thinking it will be fun. The shooting goes very well and Yuka is happy with all the pro make-up and hair styling they put on her. After her photos are taken and she is back to school uniform, a couple enters the set--the strange guy from school and another girl! His name is Kaito, Youko-mama informs her, and he is a pro model. He recognizes her as well and says he thinks she is cute (even when crying) and kisses her on the cheek! Next day she asks Touko and Katsura if they know him, and Touko (of course) does. She also says that his girlfriend is Saori-senpai, to Yuka's shock. Afterwards, when she crosses him in school she tries to ignore him but when he follows her she spanks him for kissing another girl when he already has a girlfriend. But, as always, he never replies what one would expect...
Act 7 (December'2000, January'2001 issue)
Translation Available. Yuka meets Furuya Kaito at school. She is shocked that he doesn't even know her name and tells him again not to fool around when he has a girlfriend. Later Kaito is talking with Saori-senpai and tells her about the girl, which she identifies as Yuka. He seems to be thinking about her and Saori looks a little worried. Yuka is taking photos of Touko (because Katsura won't pose) when Furuya apears again and ends up being Yuka's model. She thinks again on how beautiful he is. Yuka comments on his long hair and the next day, to her surprise, he has cut it shorter! She is taking by this gesture. When Yuka developes some of the photos she took of Furuya, he enters the dark room and ends up kissing her, while Yuka mentally asks Saori to forgive her.
Act 8 (January'2001, February'2001 issue)
Touko and Katsura are happily surprised that Kaito kissed Yuka in the dark room. They ask her eagerly what they did afterwards, and Yuka says that they went around Ikebukuro... it was very romantic! Katsura then asks what happened to Saori-senpai.... and Yuka turns into stone. (She had forgotten...) Yuka is worried and undecisive about Saori-senpai. She knows she has stolen Kaito from her, kinda like what happened to her and Shiki, but still... passion is passion! Later at the school's halls, Yuka encounters Saori, who is all friendly and nice to her, so Yuka deduces that she still doesn't know anything. After school, Yuka tells Kaito that she is quitting the photo club so Saori-senpai doesn't have to see her face all days. Kaito tells her is not necessary because Saori is not going to know anything. Yuka is shocked, but Kaito mellows her telling her about how he likes her more than Saori but Saori is very dear to him nevertheless and, besides, Yuka likes Saori too, so she wouldn't like to hurt her, right? Kaito says he is sorry they can go out in the open. Yuka looks undecided, but comes to the conclusion that it does make sense, so it's ok. Touko and Katsura think it's not, and tell her. Katsura gets mad at Yuka when she still looks undecided about the mess, but still, Yuka says she likes Kaito so she will stay as his "second." (Touko makes the comparison between Saori being the legal wife and Yuka being the secondary passionate affair). Days pass and while Kaito totally ignores Yuka at school, they go on great dates together out if it. Even though, Yuka still has to stand seeing him and Saori together in the school halls and hear other girls commenting about them, so she ends up pretty discouraged. At home, she decides to have a talk with Youko-mama about it, but she is still working and her father offers to counsel her about her love-related problems. Yuka preffers Youko-mama, but ends up spilling it all to her father and Touwa. Her father doesn't have much to say, but Touwa tells her she is stupid for liking this guy when she should be hating him. Yuka defends Kaito and goes away very mad. During one of their dates afterwards, Yuka tells Kaito crying that she wants him to be hers only, but Kaito tells her he is sorry but he can't break up with Saori. (Ed's Note: the girl is daft -_- )
Act 9 (February'2001, March'2001 issue)
Kaito and Ruka go out together and she talks about his upcoming birthday. He says he can't meet her on the day itself and Ruka guesses correctly that it's because of Saori-senpai. Kaito proposes celebrating the following day and Ruka agrees, even though he doesn't look to enthusiastic. At home, Youko-mama shows Yuka and her father the issue of "Cool Teen" where Yuka's modeling photos appear. She also finds a photo of Kaito in the magazine and shows it to her father... She says that she can't see him on his birthday because of Saori-senpai and is feeling down because Saori-senpai has the winning hand on these type of events even though he said he only likes Yuka... However she tries to cheer herself up and his father cheers her up as well. (Ed's Note: I can't believe Youko-mama had nothing to say about this! -_- ) On Kaito's birthday, Yuka send an email to his keitai (cell phone) while he is on a date with Saori telling him that she is waiting for him (at the place of their first date, on top of a building). He does appear to meet her and is mad at her, but then changes his mind with Yuka's eagerness to see him... for the last time. Later Yuka tells Touwa about what happened while they study. At school, Yuka is happy she is doing better in class thanks to Touwa. Saori-senpai goes to her classroom to talk with her and apologizes for Kaito... Yuka tries to ask for forgiveness but Saori tells her that it's ok, she understands. As she walks away, Yuka realizes Saori knew all along. When Yuka leaves school, a dark-haired guy is waiting for her. His name is Hikaru, and he used to go out with Yuka while in school...
Act 10 (March'2001, April'2001 issue)
It's summer vacations and Katsura and Yuka meet to go to a live house. Katsura thinks Yuka looks very cute and matching to the ocassion while she... well, she hopes that her new t-shirt will be enough. While in the live house, Katsura thinks, kind of wistfully, about Yuka and Touko and their friends and all their talks about boyfriends and girlfriends. The show starts and Katsura seems impressed by the band. Yuka tells her they are amateurs but they are interrumpted by a rude guest who throws a beer can to the band's drums. The guy doesn't like this at all and goes down to the public to er, talk, with the rude man, resulting in Katsura ending up with her drink spilled over her new t-shirt. The guy gives her one of the band's "original t-shirts" and Katsura seems taken by him... Later at home she thinks of his face while she looks at the t-shirt. She wants to see him again but she is too scared of going alone to the live house and she is too embarrassed to ask Yuka to go with her again! It's time to go back to school after vacation. Yuka asks Katsura if she got a boyfriend and correctly guesses about the band's drums, so she helps Katsura and ask about him. Unfortunately they are told he was a temporary member. However they are in for a surprise, because he appears as their new teacher! He is in training and thus will be with them for two weeks. He will be in charge of world history. Katsura exclaims in surprise and he recognizes her. She is happy he remembered her... He, Terakado Hiroshi, becomes quite popular around and Yuka and co. are informed that he used to go out with English teacher Hamanaka Akiko, a really pretty woman. Katsura encounters Terakado-sensei and they both talk happily as Akiko watches from afar. Later on she approaches Katsura and Yuka... And Yuka remembers her as Hikaru's coach... the girl he cheated Yuka with!! Akiko teases (bitchingly) Yuka about that and proceeds to deliver a warning about her intentions of going back to a previous relationship.
