Random Walk manga synopsis.

These synopsis are done by Zahara Medina and can't be used anywhere else without her consent. As she is just a student of Japanese, there are bound to be mistakes. If you spot any mistake, please report it to me, thanks! :) (comments are also appreciated....)

Act 11 (April'2001, May issue)
Yuka and Touko cheer Katsura to "fight for her love" and she seems to secure what seems a first date with Terakado sensei. But later Katsura overhears him talking with Hamanaka-sensei about her and saying that he doesn't think anything of Katsura (girlfriend-wise) because she is 6 years younger than him. Then Hamanaka asks him out on the same day he was supposed to go out with Katsura and proceeds to try enticing him into continuing their relationship. Later Katsura tries to ignore Terakado-sensei, and tells him, almost crying, that because she is a kid he doesn't need to keep his promises with her and she feels stupid. He tries to talk to her, but she runs away. Touko and Yuka confront Terakado-sensei and tell him that Katsura is a woman and say he is stupid for what he said. To their shock he agrees. He later calls Katsura and says he is sorry for that talk about her being a kid. He asks her when they should meet for their date and she is suprised he isn't going out with Hamanaka-sensei. He turns out to be calling her from outside her home and she goes down to meet him. She tells him she likes him and he tells her he likes her too, then kisses her on the forehead. Yuka tells Hikaru about Katsura's problem bein solved and he flirts with her. Yuka seems to be thinking about him when Touwa interrumpts her--she had forgotten it was study day! He asks if Hikaru is her new man, but she tells him that Hikaru is just a male friend. Touwa doesn't seem too happy about what she says, however.
Act 12 (May'2001, June issue)
Yuka remembers how she met Hikaru when he was transfered to her school, and how they started to go out. Later on she meets him (back to the present) and comments on how things were while they were going out... and gives him a second opportunity--which he accepts rather happily.
Act 13 (June'2001, July issue)
Touko finds Yuka with a classmate, Hiro. Yuka tells her that Hiro is depressed because he broke up with his girlfriend, Yuka also tells her that after Hikaru, she went out with Hiro. Touko leaves them very mad, two years ago she liked Hiro but didn't go through with it because he had a girlfriend (not Yuka). Later on Touko talks with Hiro and hints at her liking him, but he just laughes at it. She then goes to Tsukasa (Shiki's friend, her current boyfriend), who reasures her and makes her happy. Hikaru and Yuka go out, but Hikaru has to leave and promises to go out with her the following day. However the following day she gets an email from Hikaru: he is sorry but can't make it that day either. As she goes back home after school, Yuka happens to see Hikaru in the train station... with another girl!
Act 14 (July'2001, August issue)
Yuka talks with Saori-senpai about Hikaru and how she hasn't seen him in days. They also talk a little about Kaito. Just as they finish, Yuka gets an email from Hikaru on her phone and is very happy to see that he wants to meet her that day... Later as they sit in a fast food restaurant, Hikaru doesn't look very happy... As it turns out, he's been playing around with another girl and even though he likes Yuka and she says she will wait for him, he breaks up with her. Yuka is very upset! Touwa arrives to Yuka's appartment and finds her having a feast of junk food. She starts to cry (in a rather funny way ^^; ) about her boyfriend's problems and when Touwa tries to leave, she forces him to stay and eat with her. After she talks about what her father told her about passion and relationships, she notices that Touwa is having a weird face. He had an alcoholic drink by mistake and now he's drunk! She takes him to a bed and while she fusses around about what she should do, he grabs her by her hand and tells her to sleep with him. Yuka is shocked, but he pulls her onto the bed and kisses her in the mouth! She breaks free and runs out of the room while Towa just turns around and falls asleep right away (^^; ). Outside the room, Yuka wonders between loud heart beats what the hell was that...
Act 15 (August'2001, September issue)
Yuka fell asleep on the kitchen table and Touwa wakes her up the following morning, back to his usual self. Yuka wonders why he doesn't talk about what happened the day before, and then she thinks that he probably forgot about it. However, Touwa has a troubled expression on his face, and right before leaving, he tells her he is sorry about what happened. Yuka is annoyed that he only said that and then just went away (^^) Time flies in school as they prepare for the annual festivities (when each class prepares a different entertaiment and lots of visitors come to the school). Yuka still misses Hikaru, but tells herself to think about other things, like studing. That takes her to wonder about Touwa... However, she is informed by her parents that Touwa won't be helping her anymore. She ponders about this in her room and to her horror, ends up thinking... womanly thoughts about her brother! (^_-) In school, Yuka finds herself thinking about Touwa more and more. During the festival, Yuka ends up all alone. She meets Kaito shortly before he goes off with Saori-senpai and tells him to be good to her. She also spots Nozomu and Touko with their respective significant others and even crosses paths with Terakado-sensei. Yuka is depressed that everybody is with their partners... except her. She goes to the classroom where the photo club is having an exposition (her photos included, of course). To her surprise, Touwa is there! She tells him it was a nasty thing for him to do to drop her coaching just like that. He says he felt she wouldn't want to meet him anymore, but she just teases him about getting drunk and that being the cause of his problems. To her surprise, Touwa gets quite mad at this and tells her that he only did it because it was her, and that he meant to do it. Yuka is shocked at this, and after a little of talk, he says he likes her. Then he says that he understands that she only sees him as her brother and that it's ok to forget their little incident. Yuka doesn't agree, however, and tells him she is still trying to forget Hikaru and that from then on she only wants to look at one guy. And because she wants to like him, she asks him to keep on going to her house to tutor her. Touwa understands. In their next study session, Touwa wonders about the "random walk" Yuka has been doing. First there, then here, then... Yuka ends up teasing him and they are back to their respective roles!
Epilogue (August'2001, Ribon Summer Special issue)
Yuka visits Sachie-mama and has her nails done, they talk about Yuka going on a date with Touwa. Later on, as she is late for the date, she stumbles upon Hikaru, who is going to meet his girlfriend. Yuka tells Hikaru that she found a person she likes, and Hikaru seems disappointed... He says that Yuka was his first love, so he can't really forget about her, even if he has another girlfriend. As he walks away, Yuka looks back and sheds some tears. But! She will try her best, she tells herself. So she goes to meet Touwa. She asks him if it's ok for her to be his official girlfriend from now on and of course, he is happy to hear that. During their date, in the cinema, Yuka takes his hand and they kiss...
