Ultra Maniac is the third manga by Yoshizumi Wataru to be adapted into anime. It was first adapted into an OVA that was shown in summer 2002 at the Ribon Festival and later sold through the magazine, and it is now being adapted into a TV series.

TV SERIES:

Ultra Maniac TV series started in May 2003. It is shown weekly in the Japanese channel Animax.
Although it's an adaptation of the manga, the anime will contain original characters and stories.

OVA:

Ultra Maniac was animated as a short OVA-style animation shown at Ribon's 2002 Summer Festival. This is an annual event where fans can buy special merchandise, see an art gallery, get autographs from their favorite artists (limited to a certain number of atendees), etc...
This anime was available for purchase in VHS format (NTSC) through the Ribon magazine in its 11th issue, on sale October 3rd, 2002.
