Note: B/w scans are from the magazine, where the print is in low quality paper and different ink colors so it sometimes scans pretty bad and leaves lots of noise in the picture. The tankoubon quality is, of course, much better (perfect, that is).

Act 6 (Jul'2002)
Translation Available. At school, Ayu is talking with Nina, but Nina seems to be worried about something. She starts to tell Ayu about the dark side of Kaji but feels Kaji's (really) dark eyes on her... (^^; ) A young boy suddenly hugs Nina from behind! His name is Rio and he came to give Nina some notes she forgot. The boy looks around enthusiastically asking who of them all is Ayu, and when Nina points it out, he hugs Ayu too, saying how much he wanted to meet her after all the things he heard from Nina... The rest of the class wonder who Rio is, and he proudly announces he is... Nina's pet! Nina says that he is just the neighbour's kid, and drags him and Ayu out of the class as Kaji looks on. Once they are alone, Nina re-introduces the boy. He is Rio, her pet. Ayu goes UH. Ayu ponders if maybe in the Magic Kingdom they use persons as pets and... but it turns out that when Rio takes a "cancelling magic candy," he turns back into his normal self, a cat. (And Ayu goes ??!) Rio goes away and Nina goes back to pondering how to tell Ayu about Kaji, so she tells her that she saw Kaji trash the bag with the cookies. Ayu replies that well, of course, you trash it after you finished eating the cookies. Nina attempts to tell her that Kaji is a bad person, but Ayu just happily believes her... not. Meanwhile, Rio is lurking around the school when he smells something really good, in Kaji's bag! After Ayu and Nina separate, Nina uses her computer to see when Rio is, and she sees he is with Kaji, so she runs to retrieve him scared of what can happen to it. Kaji was feeding some cookies to Rio and wonders if it's her cat and comments on the fact that it shares the name with her neighbours' kid. They fight about the "cookie matter" and girls' feelings and all related matters to arrive to the same point from where they started. They also talk about the girl Kaji likes, and Nina is impressed by his expression and words. Before leaving, Kaji tells her to keep the secret or he'll hurt Rio, but then smiles and says it's a joke. While returning home, Nina thinks that perhaps Kaji is not such a bad person after all and remembers Kaji's face... Rio notices that Nina is blushing, and poor Nina wonders what's wrong with her.
Act 7 (Aug'2002)
Translation Available. Rio-cat goes around the school enjoying the comments and attentions of all the students (especially girls! ;) until he sees something that totally shocks him... Meanwhile, Ayu, Nina and a couple of girls talk about a new third-year student who is really cool. Ayu notices that Nina is looking depressingly at Kaji and Tsujiai, who are talking nearby. The girls interrumpt them but Ayu wonders why Nina was looking at Kaji. But she is again interrumpted by Rio-cat throwing himself at Nina! What is the matter with him? Soon they learn, as the new guy appears and Nina recognizes him in shock! His name is Yuta KIRISHIMA, a childhood friend of Nina. Ayu wonders darkly what kind of new troubles will come up with another person from the Magic Kingdom going around... Later, Nina and Yuta have a talk about how he ended up transfering to the Human world (he took down half his old school building with black magic... (^^;; )). Yuta asks Nina who was the beautiful girl next to her in the class, but she tells him not to mess with Ayu because she already likes someone. Yuta just smiles to himself but Nina yells at him to stop thinking about it. However, Yuta has happily decided to turn Ayu into his girlfriend. Nina walks away worried about Yuta when Kaji talks her up. They have a little confrontation and Nina ends up upset at him wanting to feed his admirer's cakes to Rio and him reminding her not to say a thing about that side of him. Yuta and Tsujiai play a tenis match and all the girls are excited at the great play. Ayu learns that Yuta entered the tenis club and after practice, he catches up with her. Ayu just directly asks him what kind of magic he uses (to be good at tenis) (^o^) and he is taken aback that she knows! (^^) However, he can see nothing wrong with that, and proceeds to ask her out. Ayu just simply says that sorry, but not. Then tells him that she likes someone else. Yuta is pretty sure of himself about changing her mind, though. Kaji and Ayu walk around the school and he asks about Yuta joining the tenis club. Akiho cuts their conversation and takes him aside (Ayu is not too happy about this...). Akiho asks if the girl he was just with was Ayu from the tenis club... He wonders if she wanted to talk to her, but she says that's not it... she tells him that she has already told him that he is ok for him, to which he sweatily thanks her, and then asks him if the girl he likes is Ayu. Kaji is silent and surprised for a moment, but then smiles sweetily and denies it: "No way. That's wrong! *smile* " Akiho tries to make him say who it is then, but he just says it's a secret. Unbeknown to them, a shocked Nina has heard the whole thing along with Yuta! Nina walks away and Yuta asks if that's the guy Ayu likes and takes her silence for a possitive answer. Lucky him then! (since he doesn't seem to like her back... ^^; ). Nina is very worried and tells him not to tell anything to Ayu. Yuta seems to understand and says that okey... in exchange for Nina fixing up Ayu for a date with him! Nina and Yuta ask Ayu, and Yuta says he really wants to learn about this world and needs someone to teach him. Nina says she can't make it, and acts strangely when begging Ayu to please do it... Ayu notices this and agrees. Nina is definitely not happy. Afterwards, Nina sits with Rio-cat and depresses about all her problems... (Kaji's secret, her sudden interest for Kaji, Kaji's new confession, Yuta...)
Act 8 (Sep'2002)
Translation Available. It's Ayu and Yuta's "date" time! To Ayu's surprise, instead of more fashionable parts, Yuta is interested in visiting the famous traditional places, like Asakusa. Ayu is impressed at the fact that Yuta knows more about all these things than she does. Yuta tells her that he lives alone, unlike Nina's home stay program. Ayu learns that people can also use magic without the need for the computer, like Nina, and Yuta demostrates by making some flowers blossom and exploding some balloons. Ayu is impressed until he makes a little girl cry because her cotton sugar disappears, and then laughes at her face. She slaps him and tells him he is disgusting, to Yuta's shock. Ayu says that Nina uses magic so she can make other people happy and that even though her results might be bad, her magic is much worthier than his. Yuta stops her before she walks off and apologizes. He asks her to go with him to just one more place... there is something he wants to give her. Ayu doesn't look very convinced, but she agrees anyway. They go to a building called "MK Abroad Studies Center"... MK for Magic Kingdom?! Yuta nods happily and explains it's a students center with things like counseling, etc... He asks her to wait a moment. After a while, he returns with a small box. A thank-you present for her! Ayu doesn't want it, but he tells her to accept it because it's not expensive or anything. Ayu opens the box and finds it's an instant camera. Yuta explains that of course it isn't a normal camera, it's a magical camera that shows the person one likes! Ayu is speechless. He tells her that when one takes a photo of a person with that camera, the developed film doesn't actually show the person, but whoever that person likes the most. He proceeds to demostrate by taking a pic of her and sure enough, a smiling Kaji is on the pic! ("A photo of Kaji-kun!!! *heart* *heart* *heart*") (^^;;;; ) Yuta adds that you can get different types of films. There is one that shows the person you hate, another shows the place you want to go to, etc... Each pack has 10 photos. Yuta tells Ayu that she can take a photo of Kaji and find out who he really likes. While Ayu ponders about it, Yuta thinks that he is not telling Ayu, just like he promised to Nina, but by taking the photo and based on what they heard, Ayu will find out by herself nontheless. Yuta happily asks her not to say anything about the camera to Nina, because she hates it and gives her bad vibes. Yuta also tells her to think seriously about going out with him. Next day, Nina worriedly asks Ayu about her date with Yuta, but she tells her she really enjoyed it. Ayu internally plans to use the camera after school... And after school, Nina happily asks Ayu about returning home together. Ayu makes up an excuse but Nina insists she can wait for her, so Ayu tells her to wait in the library. As Ayu sneaks around with the camera, she is intercepted by two of her friends, who insist (of course ^^;; ) to have their photo taken! Ayu lies about it being a normal camera (even though they can see the photo getting out...) and runs away. And of course takes a look at who they both like... As she is looking, she bumps into one of her teachers, who notices the camera and also happily insists in her taking a pic of him! Ayu can't help but comply... but she tells him sweating profusely that she really would like to keep his photo! The teacher concludes that Ayu is a fan... Last but not least, Ayu crosses paths with Yuta himself, who asks if she has taken the photo. He teases her about taking so long, so she decides to take a pic of him! Yuta tries to get the photo back but it's no use, and Ayu sees a smiling Nina on it. Humph. Just as she thought. Ayu wonders if Yuta is going out with other girls to make Nina jealous, but he says it's not that... That since Nina has no feelings for him, why shouldn't he play with other girls? Ayu tells him to confess to Nina, and he answers that look who is talking, the one that can't make herself confess to Kaji. Ayu admits defeat... (^^; ) But Yuta turns serious and says he won't confess, it's better to keep things as they are now, as a childhood friendship. Ayu doesn't know what to think about this. Unfortunately for her, she discovers that Kaji is not training for the baseball team today! She will have to try the next day... Ayu goes to the library and finds Nina sleeping. She hits on the wonderful, great idea of taking a pic of her and that it will probably be Yuta and... ...a serious Kaji looks back at her from the photo. "Eh?!"
