Act 21 (Oct'2003)
A depressed Nina decides to refuse Tsujiai after thinking about what Sayaka said to her. Later that evening she spills the beans to Ayu. Nina tells Ayu that if she decides to stay in the normal world she won't see her family and friends anymore so Ayu understands it's not such an easy decision. Ayu wonders if Sayaka was really saying the truth. Next day, Ayu calls Sayaka for a talk, Ayu correctly guesses Sayaka is hoping to separate Nina and Tsujiai because she knows Yuta really likes Nina. Sayaka says it's okay with her because she is doing it as a return for all the good things Yuta did for her. Yuta suddenly materializes and tells Sayaka how silly she is and says that Nina doesn't matter anymore because he is now with Sayaka. He tells her he likes her and there is no one else. They kiss. Ayu tells Nina a slightly modified version because Yuta asked her not to tell her about his previous feelings. Ayu tells Nina to go along with her real feelings. On her way, Nina meets Mito and Mikami-sensei. She is surprised they are going out. Mito tells her that if one likes the other person then there is no problem and that there is no point in worrying about the future. If she likes a person and wants to be with that person in that moment, then it's ok. At home, Nina then talks with her home-stay father. She wonders if it wasn't hard for him (Magic Kingdom) and his wife (normal person), and he says that although he doesn't remember well, if you really like the other person, it will all turn out well somehow. Nina then decides to accept Tsujiai-kun's offer. Next day, Nina tells him and he seems very happy. She offers to wait until his club practice is over so they can go home (aka, go take a walk around) together. However when Nina later arrives home, there is a visitor waiting for her! It's the man that was watching her before! The man tells Nina he has come to take her back (to the Magic Kingdom, one would guess).
Act 22 (Nov'2003)
The man introduces himself as Raki HAAROU (Harlow? Harrow? @_@; ), a teacher from elite magic school Etoruria (Etollia perhaps? @_@; ) Royal Magic School. He tells Nina, Rio and her home stay mom that they are interested in Nina. It turns out that when Nina did some special tests in junior high while she was in the Magic Kingdom she got really good results. She can do very powerful magic and the only reason it looks as if she has to use the computer to do is because she hasn't learnt to control her powers. She is basically, a diamond in the rough. Nina is very excited about this because she wants to be able to help lots of people, but then realizes she won't be able to visit her friends in the human world because it's a boarding school with its own dormitories. She wouldn't be able to have a pet, either. It would be from 3 to 8 years before she completely graduates. Raki-sensei tells Nina that it's her decision and to think about it well. Later that night Nina tells Rio that she has decided to go, because the thing she desires most is to be able to help the people around her, and this will allow her to use her magic better towards that end. Rio asks Nina what about Ayu and Tsujiai. Next day, Ayu tells Nina they are planning on going to an amusement park next day (*), and Nina says she will also go. On the morning before leaving, she uses her magic treasure box to produce a magic pill she then eats. The two couples have a good time (Ayu and Kaji even kiss again). While on the ferris wheel, Tsujiai comments on how she is as lively as always, and says the day before he thought something was wrong with her. Nina avoids the question and tells Tsujiai to look outside, but it turns out he is a bit afraid of heights. Nina offers to produce a heights-loving pill for him, but he refuses (^^). After riding many attractions they rest for a while and Tsujiai and Kaji go to get some drinks. But while they are away, Nina's pill's effect dies and she starts to cry and says she made a pill that would made her forget (about leaving for the other school) so that she could have a great fun day together with them. Ayu tries to calm her down, but Nina hugs her and says she doesn't want to return (to the Magic Kingdom). (* - Currently up to junior high grades (14-15 years old), schools can have saturdays off as well as sundays. This created some controversy as some parents believe their kids will get rotten lazy if they don't have to go to school to study 6 days a week ^^; Many schools still have club practices and other things on saturdays anyway.)
Act 23 (Dec'2003)
Ayu calls Kaji while he and Tsujiai are still getting drinks. Ayu tells Kaji that Nina felt suddenly sick and that they both left the amusement park already. Kaji wonders how come it was so sudden, since she seemed perfectly fine just some moments ago. Tsujiai looks very concerned. At Nina's place, Nina cries and tells Ayu about what happened. Ayu tells Nina she is happy for her because Nina had always said she wanted to make people happy and now when she becomes better with her magic thanks to this opportunity, she will be able to do it. But then Ayu also starts to cry a little. Just then, Ayu gets a call from Tsujiai, inquiring about Nina. Ayu passes the phone to Nina and he asks if he can go visit her now, but she tells him not to. Tsujiai notices she is crying and wonders if she did anything wrong. Nina tells him that's not it and tells him not to worry. Tsujiai doesn't seem too convinced... Ayu tells Nina that she has to talk with Tsujiai (about returning to the Magic Kingdom), but Nina shakes her head. At school, Nina catches up with Kaji and Tsujiai and apologizes for what happened. Tsujiai notices Nina is all happy again, but is still not convinced. Yuta appears and takes Nina away. He knows about the school offer but assumes Nina won't go. When Nina tells him she wants to go, they have a huge fight. Yuta says that's it's ok if she doesn't become better at magic and thinks Nina shouldn't go because she wants to stay in the human world. Nina answers that Yuta doesn't understand because he is so good at magic, but that she wants to become better at it, so there is no other option than to return to the Magic Kingdom and accept the school's offer. Later Yuta and Sayaka talk about it, and Yuta tells her not to worry because he doesn't want to leave at all. Suddenly Tsujiai appears behind them and tells them to explain to him what they just talked about. Later on Nina and Tsujiai talk, but Tsujiai is in a very dark mood. He tells her that he heard all about Nina from Yuta and demands to know why she didn't talk to him about something this important. Nina starts to cry and tells him that she didn't want him to feel bad. Nina tells him she will be leaving in less than 10 days. Tsujiai asks Nina for something... Next day, neither Tsujiai nor Nina attend school. Kaji talks with Ayu and thinks they went on a date. To his surprise Ayu agrees and tells Kaji that Nina will be leaving soon. Tsujiai looks around him... and comments they are not in Japan. He tells Nina that even if he told her to go to a place where they didn't know anybody... Nina had tried to take them to Hokkaido but obviously failed. Nina says it's fine anyway since she gets to spend a whole day with him! Tsujiai offers his hand to her and they both start to walk hand in hand.
